Thank you for this episode. I realized I am no detective 😔 and this text seemed difficult to me. Probably because it was very long and had many new words. The beginning of the story I understood what was happening but at the end of the story I understood little. I believe that flashcards (words from these video lessons) will help me learn many English words.

Hi Luke, thanks for the great work you constantly do. I'm Italian and, as you asked, the correct pronunciation of the painter's name is a bit different. you have to make the letter I less heard. The I is there only to sweeten the sound of the C which otherwise would be pronounced like a K. You have to pronounce it as in Choccolate

About the pronounce of Masaccio: "s" is like the one in "rose", in "ccio" vowel "ì" is mute

I try to immagine how we could write Masaccio if it was an english sounding word... probably I would use "Mazatcho". 😅 This should suggest the right italian pronounciation
