I think that the first brushed versión motor run more than the last versión. First versión 56kmh two years ago aprox. and the new versión 49-51kmh. The el toys 124019 runs more with the same motor. You can compare if you see the KZbin videos.

I had no idea. I’ll check that out!

That giant battery is probably too heavy for the motor. Also the esc may not be made to flow that much amperage. You might be able to take advantage from that battery with a brushless setup
@KentuckyRC2 жыл бұрын
You’re right. I’ll probably keep it stock though due to the release of the current models with brushless setups. It’ll save me some time.

A higher C battery might not help much if a lower C battery already can handle the motor well. The voltage still dictates the max speed no matter the current pushed.
@mrpurplify2942 жыл бұрын
So how does the higher discharge help?
2 жыл бұрын
@@mrpurplify294 it helps more the higher the current. If the motor does not draw too much current, the C rating will be less important. Could be explained as the ratio between the internal battery resistance and that of the motor. If the motor is 10 Ohm and the batteries are either 1 or 2 Ohms, it's not as big a difference between as if the motor is 2 Ohms to begin with.

@ I'm building my 144001 from scratch and I'm yet to order the electronics, I want 50mph. I'm keeping stock gearing. And I'm staying with 2s battery. What batty discharge rate and what kv motor would you suggest? I have 60 amp esc
@KentuckyRC2 жыл бұрын
You’re right. The battery didn’t help on this car, but I tried it on a Bezgar 6 today vs the stock battery and I did get a small improvement. I plan to get a lower capacity/higher current battery to test to see if the weight reduction will offer greater performance. This 5200mah is a beast!

I’d like to know myself. 50mph on 2S is a pretty tall order. I’d love to see it though!

wait did it actually set on fire because i have a 14401 and i wanna buy a 5000 mAh battery
@butchreeker3 жыл бұрын
@@sult4nDLXX this caught the esc on fire specifically where all the wires meet on the circuit board in esc
@nanonunio2 жыл бұрын
Because it can only handle 2s not 3s the mah is just the Capacity the battery has.
@butchreeker2 жыл бұрын
@bano rubio yeah I have upgraded the esc to a 120 believe it or not. I made it fit. Runs the 11.1 pretty well super heavy no. High tip rate

Hi there do u run this buggy on stock?
@KentuckyRC3 жыл бұрын
Mostly. The differentials have been greased. I lowered the front suspension and moved the battery compartment to the front. Other than that, this car is setup exactly as it would be from the factory.

@@KentuckyRC Do u run it on goldbat lipo with the motor that it came with but different battery?
@KentuckyRC3 жыл бұрын
Ayan Mohammed I’m not exactly sure what you are asking. In the video I tried an 80c battery on the original motor. It did not make it any faster due to the weight of the battery. High discharge batteries are typically larger and heavier. It’s seems better to go with a smaller battery to reduce weight.

i like all my speed,power and run times on my wltoy 25c batteriers.. you may have gotten a bad car or a bad batch...15 mins bashing with 1500 2s... and i get 31 mph... i took the time to set my car as best i could... adjust links,check gears for smoothness..break in motor...good luck..PS that 5200 battery would be great for my 1/10 monster truck..
@KentuckyRC3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you’re having some good luck with the batteries. I continue to cycle through them for fun but I’m still getting better results with my other lipos. My slower speeds are probably due to strapping my phone & it’s heavy case to the car on these runs. At the time I didn’t have a GPS unit. And you’re right, the 5200 would probably be great in a 1:10. Thanks for watching!
