Fun Fact: she was one of the original cast members on The Mickey Mouse Club in the early 70s when she got dropped from the network. She tried music, but got average success. She disappeared for a few years and dropped this single the start of '86 lauching her into true mainstream success.

Oh my god its been a while since I last heard Espresso, I remember dancing in the neon dance floor back in 1986 with this in the background. (PSA:I imagined it's not as hard to transpose Espresso since it already has 80's influences)

legitimately this song doesn't get the respect it deserves. I don't want to compare artists, but one of my favorite remixer is TRONICBOX and this rendition is the most transformative new jack swing remixes I've heard in a long time. others miss the mark for me but this hits HARD it's so good! I've been listening to it for months and love it like it's my first time hearing it haha great job! 🙏

The original is amazing, but this slaps too! Reminds me of Sonic CD which is from 1993 and a lot of the music resembles music from the 80's of course. It's got that new jack swing feel like Sonic CD.

The original song has been on my daily-listening playlist since it came out so hearing it remixed is jarring to my brain rn but it definitely is a great remix. The base guitar definitely adds a funky flavor. The song already had an older feel to it, dont you think? A disco vibe imo

It's a real shame Sabrina Carpenter never toured with Sabrina Salerno, they both exemplified the 80s. Maybe now that they're having revival concerts, we'll finally see them together on stage...

Oh, Sabrina? Yeah, she RULED the late 80s and early 90s. On par with Lisa Stansfield, En Vogue, and the actual voices of Milli Vanilli. Legend has it this song was the original beat for Fresh Prince until Will decided to scrap it and add his own crazy rap on a Jazzy Jeff joint. But one thing’s for sure: Sabrina was always the queen of New Jack. Wake up and smell the “espresso,”people. ☕️😆
