I just watched the entire Nickelodeon's Thanksgiving Fest this morning, so that's crazy that the commercial breaks was your next upload

Wow, peak Nickelodeon here. I remember the Lunchbreak Theater, basically an excuse to put the stuff they'd show on Special Delivery on weekdays. This Thanksgiving Fest was a neat treat to see. As I said in a previous video also in 1992 Nick went Muppet crazy not only with the Sunday night blocks but also on the weekends with "Muppet Matinee"! I must have seen that Secrets of the Muppets special a million times!

Nickelodeon Thanksgiving Fest- If anyone were to ask me what my favorite segment is from this special, I would say the “Thanksgiving Dream” segment. I found it to be one of the most creative among the segments. From the main characters shrinking and interacting with the various foods and items in the kitchen, the dough monster, to how the dough monster was defeated by plain old black pepper. Frosted Flakes- I never knew Tony the Tiger had the magical ability to change plain old Corn Flakes into Frosted Flakes with just a wave of his hand, like at 9:08.

I was watching the original clip this came from earlier. And everytime I watch it, I will always be happy to have grown up in a time when Nick Jr. use to have anime. There were 8 shows all from Japan and 1 from Spain(David the Tom Bosley voiced garden ornament himself). After Blue's Clues entered in, the anime was gone and replaced with other shows from Canada🇨🇦

I remember Sunday Night Muppets. My sister and I never missed it. I loved the wraparounds for "Nick's Thanksgiving Fest" even better than the cartoons featured in it. My favorite was the last one. "You were expectin' burgers and fries, mebbeh?"

I always loved that Rugrats commercial 😂. And remember every single one of those episodes. Such good times

The Secrets of the Muppets was an episode of the Jim Henson Hour, a show that ran briefly in 89. I remember watching the show regularly when it first aired. It would be one of the final three projects that Henson would live to see completed.

I imagine many kids of our generation were introduced to anime through Nick Jr.

10:07 That's basically the whole plot, anyway. Her missing archeologist(?) dad sent her the magic koala bear, and I don't believe he ever showed up throughout the entire series.
