Holy crap, that Cricket commercial was terrifying! And I had one! Was The 700 Club different in the 80's? That ad seemed so...snazzy. I was really confused by the Schick commercial at first. I was like, "This is no way to sell razors!"

Centurions-a dream cast for a live-action film would be Matt Damon,Bruce Wills,Zac Efron and Jennifer Lawrence WWF Superstars-R.I.P Piper,Junkyard Dog and The Animal :( The 700 Club-was expecting to see Pat Robertson bust out a few dance moves Western Optical-that last pair of glasses..looked kind of like the ones the Visitors from"V" wore Thundercats-i dont think any of thos"villain" characters appeared in the animated show..commercial's voiceover is Victor Caroli of Transformers fame

I'm not saying TRU is on good financial footing now or has a business model that will survive long term, but a lot of companies enter bankruptcy protection and make it out fine. I guess I have a hard time saying R.I.P. to a business with over 1500 stores still open.

i had all of those adorable an American tail books very fun to have and read them too, for us at the time kcpq 13 would at first be clear as a bell then get all staticy sounding a lot at random on most days channel 12 was worst for that did more rainbowing and ghosting all the time same for 22 and 11 but i didn't minded any hehehehehehe

heheheh the bad guy looks more like TAZERRRFAAACCE than skeletor hehehehe but yes there was a lot of toons back then with similar premises even thundarr the barbarian was a cool futuristic conan meets he-man meets the time machine kinda cartoon all was so good to watch
