I love early 80s commercials, too. I love it all, but there’s something extra special about the 70s feel of the ads mixed with some new age stuff peeking through..and I say this as an early 80s baby who doesn’t remember any commercials until about 86/87.

I love the little tune that plays in the Denny’s commercial. They reused this ditty throughout the decade as this song was featured in other Denny’s ads. Also, that grilled rainbow trout meal looks great and is a steal at $3.49 (about $11.12 in 2024 money). You’d be lucky to spend $15 on that today.

Chevy S 10 Pick Up Truck- Quite an epic way to begin a commercial for a truck by having one explode dramatically like that. Hostess- Back when Hostess Snack Cakes were considered real food, not made from preservatives and artificial ingredients like the ones nowadays.
