Jesus added one extra commandment to the Ten commandments given to Moses by God. He asked us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. God is capable of loving all of us the same and forgiving our sinful nature. This seems impossible at times but it is necessary to give sin to God to deal with so we can free our hearts and not be destroyed by it. So we can live in peace.
