All C3's are pretty cool, I prefer pre '78, but would like owning any of them.

agreed. The C3 debuted over 50 years ago yet still looks better than 90% of the cars on the road today.

I think your one of the most honest, knowledgeable, coolest dealers on KZbin or anywhere for that matter! I sincerely appreciate how you have all the particulars and details about all these vettes you advertise on here.

For a car that is supposedly restored it's missing a sun visor it's missing the cover on the passenger sun visor it's missing the rubbers on the bottom of the spoiler the bar across the top is not a roll bar.

I had an '81. . .It was 5 years old when I bought it and only had 14,000 miles on it. . .She was a very deep Midnight Blue with a Silver leather interior. . .I drove it every day for 4 years. . .THEN. . .in the span of just 30 days, it was hit TWICE by DRUNK drivers. . .Once while it was parked under a carport at my apartment complex by a drunk blonde coming home at 3 in the morning. . .Then one month later by a drunk in a pick-up truck while I was driving to work. . .It took a month to get my money from the insurance company for the first hit because the blonde claimed SHE was hit by another car that pushed her into mine! That turned out to be a LIE. . .And on the day I finally got my check for that "accident", the drunk in a pick-up plowed into me. . .Luckily I wasn't hurt, but now the front AND rear-end of my Vette were BOTH badly messed up. . .I sold it "as is" to a guy who restored Vettes. . .I paid off the rest of the loan (only had a year to go) with some of the insurance money and that was the end of my Corvette "adventure". . .Guess it just wasn't meant to be!

Your 4 year Vette adventure lasted longer than my 4 months and 3 tickets with a '72 LT-1 4spd Corvette I paid $5,500 for in May '78 and sold for $5,000 at the end of August. Lost $500 and nearly my license, but fun while it lasted.

Love Tony's video's. Too bad the stock 81 is so S-L-O-W! I sold my 81 a year back. Prius would blow by me. But they look great and for the rudimentary suspension they handle pretty well. This one really looks great though. Better than when New!

Yeah but it's easy to do an LS Swap for these cars and get close to 400HP. Thats what I'd do. New engine, new exhaust, and thats it. The car is amazing otherwise

It's supposed to but I don't know if it does there's other things missing on it that he doesn't tell you what you can see.

I have a 1977 Corvette it's different the 1981 has its gage with plastic over them the ones I love is the ones with no plastic over the tack or speeddomtor and no glove box this one has a glove box and yes it's a very nice car but it's got the big back glass witch is very hard to find if it gets broke that is why I would have left the car alone I would have kept it the way it was from 1968 all the way to 1982 no change in the car

@4:53 "Visors".. plural? Umm.. the driver's side one is completely missing. Just sayin'..

Very nice C3, but it's a shame to go all out on a restoration that gets the exhaust wrong in the end.

Geez....killer job on the engine and compartment.....get some cheap plastic spark plug wire holders so the plug wires are nice and tidy.

Thought I was the only one to notice that too, I'm not a fan of the exhaust either, it should turn down before the rear "bumper", not exit straight out, but that's not going to matter to most people.

Nice car !!! I'd gladly pay you fair market price of $6K and not a penny more and I'm taking all the risk.

I know he's so full of crap being a car that was restored I would not have brought it out with half of things missing that I posted about. Not trying to be negative but a restored car is a restored car things are not missing.
