JB weld the screws. Done. Lol but seriously dont so that. With all the loctites you do have to shake them aggressively prior to using as with most chemicals they can seperate from sitting. Isopropyl alcohol 99% works good for cleaning as well, easy to get to. Ryan, you mention with blue loctite that when removing screws they can 'feel' different. This is also dependent on the order in which you torque the screws down an order your remove them. Especially on ring cap screws, if the are not torqued down evenly/square. Jake with assembling rifles with blue loctite you said you torque them down then back off then retorque. Id highly recommend not doing that, the heat from the torque on the screw threads especially going to max torque of screw + loctite which increases torque it actually partially cures within seconds. I understand you want everything clamped evenly, so I would suggest/test yourself torque everything without loctite. Remove 1 screw at a time, apply loctite, retorque, then next screw etc. Just my experience from 15yrs of HD diesel/ equipment mechanic and 6yrs on aeroderivative gas turbine engines up to 48,000hp utilizing all stainless and speciality alloy material bolts. Great podcast, good points. The more we try different ways the more we can confirm legitimate procedures. I’ve always waited a day after applying blue loctite before shooting, swapping scopes and stocks back and forth I’ve never noticed it not cured coming back out.

Why not make a video for the people of going through assembling their rifle the way you recommend with paint pen and loctite? "Bullet proofing a rifle" you could say.
