Will that work if I have the bed storage system like the truck vault

I was looking at the Truck Vault. Most likely it would not, but maybe depending on what setup you went with. By the looks of it, the Truck Vault goes directly to the sides. I did see one photo of a Tacoma on the website that had some boxes that do not go fully to the side. You can see that there is a ARB Twin mounted to the side of one. I would need to see your setup to know for sure. The newer design we have now goes under the rails, unlike this one that mounts in the rails.

Thanks! No, the power for the compressor is from the harness that came from ARB. I extended the compressor and rocker switch power wires as well as the ground wire to run directly to the battery since I have my switch mounted to the compressor. If you want to use use one of the auxiliary switches in the Jeep or something like an SPOD setup, you would just need to run the ground and power lines to the engine area.

Great video. Thanks. I was concerned on having to drill into the bed to run the wire but am grateful there is another way. does the wiring which comes with the arb twin compressor reach from the bed to the engine bay or did you have to purchase more cable? if you purchased more can you identify what you purchased? thank you.

Hi James, if you are going to run the ARB twin there are a few companies that sell extensions for the compressor. The Tacoma guys have been putting them in the bed for awhile. The extension is a bit expensive, but the easiest solution. For my ARB Single, I ran an extra long positive and negative line to the battery area. I believe I used 10g but 8 would be better. I keep the ARB fuse under the hood. The relay and switch is all mounted inside the box. Although, this is the version one of the compressor box. Version two is the new box and a little larger and more flexible. We have a video on here also, take a look and let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! We plan to expand into other vehicles for sure. We just had a customer mount one of our Bed Side Compressor Enclosures in a Jeep XJ/Cherokee. It came out nice! Maybe that would work for the 4Runner also?

Agreed! This is one of the older / first videos we did so the audio is not so good. We have been improving on the newer videos hopefully :)
