Check the path from the tire to the dents. Might have flung crap up and dented the inside. This will happen on any car if the tires explode

It cost that much because Tesla AND you didn't think having a spare tire was "worth" the weight and expense of the tire, rim, jack, etc. If you had bought a junkyard wheel and tire, a jack and other needed items, you could change it yourself and would have avoided the tiltbed truck and delay in your travels. The arrogance and stupidity of Tesla is not making the frunk ABLE to carry a full-size spare tire. If it could, they could sell it as an option or suggest that you could get one elsewhere (TireRack, junkyard). At least it WOULD FIT and storing it there would be a viable option for many of us.
