We posted a video about a year ago loading the four wheeler with these ramps, but didn't go into detail. In this video we go into more depth about putting the ramps together, setting them up, attaching them to the truck, then loading and unloading the ATV into the back of a lifted Ford F-150. These ramps are the 84" x 10" Steel Loading Ramps and we used ratchet straps to secure them to the truck. Definitely don't use ramps without a chain, straps or some sort of attachment.
Also, as you can see, this Honda Rancher will fit in the back of a F-150 with a 5.5' bed with a BAKflip attached and the tailgate down.
There are many ways to do this, but this is how we do it. Don't try this on a 3 wheeler.
BAKflip: amzn.to/43x47rU

I’m overly cautious with it. I always feel like a weeny taking my time up and down, but it’s not worth it to try and shortcut IMO.

Thank you! Other than the broken tail light, it went well. I've loaded/unloaded motorcycles and ATVs countless times without issue, but the one time I decide to film it I end up dinging my truck. So is life....

Good job! Oh and a little bit of duck tape will fix that taillight right up haha. At least it didn’t break the whole lamp assembly.

I was so mad at myself! In all the years of owning trucks I’ve never done that! I found the piece and super glued it back on. We’ll see how long it lasts!

The first time I loaded it, I used them on concrete without straps and that was a good lesson learned!

Can the two ramps be bolted together to make one wider ramp? I'd like to do something like that and then at the top attach a hinge so that it could be used as a ramp to the entry porch of our floating home. As the tide goes up and down, the ramp would the be able to move with the tide. On the land side I'd use wheels on castere; Thanks
@OurNewLand
@OurNewLand Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, I think that would definitely work. It would probably be pretty grippy on your feet too.
