He sounds like my dad teaching the time like that. Haha. My dad used to get so frustrated explaining things to us kids....I used to watch Dave Allen with him and my grandad all the time when I was a kid. Miss those days....

This is my very first comment on KZbin. But I felt inclined to say thank you for putting the video on. I love Dave Allen and have giggled my socks off watching this. It takes me back in time and the jokes stand the test of time.

I once farted in a lift. It wasn't a planed thing. If I could've stopped it I would've. Well said about the choclate by check outs in the supermarket. That's not a thing now thankfully

Thank god he's not my grandfather, or I'd have been no better at telling time than how they tried teaching me in school, I have A.D.D. my thought and learning process is not the same as others couple that with the stupid way my school decided to teach how to tell time, I had no Idea how after a whole semester (they did it bit by bit over a semester) my grandfather was so angry when he asked me what time it was and couldn't tell him, not at me thankfully but at my parents and the school, he taught me how to tell time in ten minutes,

I think that might have been a repeat if it was shown '93/'94. My parents used to watch Dave Allen all the time and I remember seeing this one, though I've forgotten the year. I left home in '91 and didn't have the opportunity to watch Dave Allen with my husband.

My friend’s dad used to keep the time on the clock at 10 minutes fast. If anyone tried to adjust it, he would get upset because he said he wouldn’t be able to tell what time it was. Lol.

The tip of his left index finger. He never spoke about how or when he lost it. Must have happened before he appeared on TV.
