If it's not factory, someone did a darn nice job of forming the hood around the propane valves.
@tmonteIH19 сағат бұрын
Upon more research and talking to others it’s factory

I've seen plenty of 50,65, & 85 on LP. Also seen a 97 but that was made by MM.

Thanks for the video. Just for fun I googled the LP 180 there was somebody asking about 1 on Yesterdays tractor forum back in 2005, and there is a picture of 1 on Auction facts that has all the same hood cut outs as this one. Yeah that loaders horrible I modified one to fit a 500 Belarus ,that somebody else had modified to fit a case 730. The Belarus owner just bought me the 2 piles and said make it work L.O.L It needed to go further back on the tractor like this one as the booms are too long but the cab was in the way. I collect Fordson Majors, I had 1 with a local dealer decal, I just bought another one from another guy with the same Decal. His other tractor I fixed came from the same dealer and he tells me there are 4 more in his top 40 acre, with the same dealer decals he bought from a friends estate. That place was a few miles from the original dealer location, and he tells me when the snow goes and we can find them, I've got an opportunity to own those 4 as well. Your grills not bad for a loader tractor the Fordson ones are mostly bent and the sad thing is I can't straighten them, without loosing that original dealer decal and spoiling the original look of the tractors. Take care

I have had two 180 Massey as far as I am considered it was the best tractor that was made. I thought they made a few in Canada but I am not sure. Ours were diesels but I used to haul Propane and the trucks we ran were on propane conversions so I always thought propane tractors were cool. Hope you enjoy it. With that loader it would be hard to fill but without it it will be good.

I’ve been around and use a couple diesel 180s. They were great tractors. Hoping this LP will be reliable and I can get some good use out of it.

Propane engines usually lite stuck. My case 811b was. We put marvel oil in spark plugs holes. Let set several day then pull started it. They were built tough in those days.
@tmonteIHКүн бұрын
That’s my experience as well. If it hadn’t been for the bad starter I would’ve have had it running in two days.

We didn't have the 180 here in Ireland, what we had were the 185 and more commonly the 188. All Perkins diesels, certainly no LP, never did see a gasser bigger than the 35.

I love the look of the European 188s. Wish I could find one in the US.

When you showed the tank fill ports, it looked like the hood cutout was neatly rolled under. I'm guessing it's a factory LP tractor.

Jeeze... you're a young-un... I'm in mid 40s, and i always thought I wasn't "that old" and then all the youtubers I follow say their age... Talk about being born into the perfect place! As an aside, I remember when my beard was that red...
