We are in Southern Alabama 11 miles from the Gulf we received 7.5” of snow last Tuesday following the storm the temperature dropped to 6 degrees at the lowest point. Last record was 6” back in the 1890’s. The area was shut down for 3 days!

In Southern Louisiana (1 ) foot near Lafayette, Louisiana since 2018,2021. Everything was white, kept us off the highways for 3 days. Your missing sockets are probably in one of the tractors that you did a repair in the field. Check the vehicles too, one here, one there. It is also possible you will find other things that have been missing.

Vacherie, Louisiana(south Louisiana) had blizzard warnings, 8” of snow and nights of 13 to 15 degrees. Businesses and schools were closed for several days. The snow was beautiful until it turned to slush

We are in Terrebonne Parish. We had 9 inches. It was the late 1800’s since it snowed that much. It got down to 10 degrees. We are not use to this. It took 3 days to melt off.

Very bad weather here in Ireland too storms lots of damage done to roofs of sheds no electricity for thousands but still have to keep farming through it same no matter where in the world you are but spring is coming hope you’re all keeping well Joe and family dairy farmers in Ireland

I live in Washington state and though it does gets cold here, it doesn't get cold like Michigan, and I have to say I have respect to all the farmers that have to deal with the cold in the winter!🥶

You can keep the snow and cold up your way. Yeah,.....I remember those good ol' days of thawing out waterers and keeping the livestock as warm as possible. We would put layers of straw bales around the foundation of the house. You never realized how many cobwebs you had in the barn, until you kept the milk cows inside, and the cobwebs would get all frosty from the cows breathing. It was a cool site to see.

Tuesday, Jan21, we had 3" of snow here in Lower Alabama. The wind was fierce and it got down to 8 F by Wednesday morning. It very gradually got warmer and the snow has mostly melted by now. Lower Alabama has absolutely NO snow handling equipment or resources to deal with snow. This might have been a once in a century event. But we are well and looking forward to better weather.

I think we all will be happy to see this cold weather leave and the milder temperatures come back in. The snow and ice is also a real nuisance, be glad for that to go as well. I really like what Kevin and all the son's have done with the shop, like his idea of the tool cart. Y'all stay warm!

Got down to -15 in northern Colorado. This is usually our coldest weather of the year, 1st, 2nd or 3rd week of January. Locals call it “Stock Show Weather” because of the annual stock show in Denver!

When the snow "krinkles under your boots" you know its cold! Is the cold your experiencing unusual for your area? I'm from Minnesota. We have no snow on the ground. Just got done with a cold snap, 5 days or so. I'm 79 and a retired farmer. I can remember a day, back sometime ago,the air temp was -45 with a winchill of -90.After getting the cattle fed I spent the rest of the day thawing waterers out.Thankful it was a one day affair.The next day it was calm with no wind, it felt really warm! 30 degrees above here today. East Tennessee 3 days ago the low was 2 degrees high 15 degrees. The kids were of school Week and 4 days . The back roads Ice covered no salt trucks no school bus Aloud on back roads. I live in a Hollar snow stays on ground the sun don't get to the bottom of holler .

I have friends in Houston Texas who got a few inches of snow which closed the entire city down. I thought it was funny because a few inches of snow and temperatures near or below freezing is just a normal part of winter for us.

Got 1 in. snow and a low of 14 degrees in Tallassee Al. I have milked and feed cows in the low 20’s and I don’t have to do that anymore. My daughter and sil got 9” in Mobile Al. And that’s unheard of. Keep up the good work Ronda and Kevin.

Yes south Alabama got 10” of snow!! We are farmers too so we still had to tend to animals no staying inside. We got down to the teens but with the wind chill it was 0!! Way too cold for Alabama!! My husband is just like Kevin on building with what he has than buying new. I wish I could show you a picture of his shop and parts room!
