85.5 Porsche 944 start and drive

Don't listen to the guy before! If you can, don't turn on the screw on the throttle body or the screw on the AFM. The screw on the throttle body is for setting base idle with the idle speed stabilizer valve DEFEATED on the diagnostic port. It should not be adjusted unless you know what to do. The same goes for the screw on the AFM. That screw is for setting CO correction in IDLE only with the O2 sensor DEFEATED. To make a correct adjustment you need a gas analyser. Can't wait for the next video!

the car is not currently regeistered and on the road right now, last time it was was 1998!!! but I think thats a big part of what it needs and when I do finally get it on the road i plan to give it a good shake down run. And it is not turbo so dont have to worry about leaks!

clean all the grounds fill the tank full of 94 super and drive it for an hr on the freeway at 70 80 mph new plugs will help to but you should drive it everyday it will help also look for turbo leaks sounds down on power mas or imaps or tps i could do 140 in mine before i sold it

On the 85.5 there is no turbo.

Have you ever thoguht of turning up the throttle from under the hood??

Sounds like it's running off 2 pistons!

Vacuum hose. Mine does it all the time now and there is a vacuum hose under the intake and you have to put it in and it will be perfect.
