Thank you. I’m about 3 working days into my first pair of 901’s. Just discovered they are now making ladies versions of the 901…901W. Ordered a couple pair for when I need help in the wood yard as I often have ladies stacking totes behind our Wolfe Ridge SHO splitter. Thanks for the glove endorsement…I can attest to everything stated except the durability…just don’t have enough time w em yet.

No glove will last forever but this glove has a good balance between warmth, durability and keeping hands dry if you use the water proofing they come with.

Thank you! They look great and I just ordered a pair for camping

You will like them. Warm and durable. Make sure to add the Nikwax. Help a lot for wet snow work.

Maybe you should try WINGLEOV heated work gloves, which are wear-resistant, waterproof and heated, and are designed for winter work.

Firewood is hard on gloves. These have worked well for me but will wear out eventually. Good price so can replace annually if needed.

@@timbertimeoutdoors9836 where are they made?

These weren't warm enough for skiing, so you went with mittens there. What do you think the cutoff is for you? How low of a temperature would these be warm enough for you before you needed to switch to a mitten? Assuming no dexterity needed, just warmth.

I had the same issue with skiing. Mittens work better. They work excellent for making firewood because you are moving and blood is pumping to fingers. I love these for cold weather work.

Home Depot sells a Husky brand water resistant gloves that I have found outlast any gloves I have ever used. In the winter, I just wear a pair of jersey liners under them and they are enough to keep my hands warm. A cuff would be nice though. By the way, I can’t believe you filmed this in front of a gas fireplace! 😂

Do you not burn wood yourself?
@timbertimeoutdoors98362 жыл бұрын
You noticed the Gas Fireplace. That was my wife's doing. I love a real fireplace but was overruled. I burn outside but sell most of what I make.

You're talking about making firewood but sitting next to a gas fireplace. ???

Just got the knit cuff pigskin "thermal" Kinco work gloves. Here in Downeast Maine at ~ 26 F my fingers were frozen only hauling cut firewood and running the ATV. These Kincos are not winter ready. Zero warmth. Not pleased. Kinco needs to do some serious Q.C. work not marketing. Not pleased in spite of all the high reviews.
