86 nissan d21. oil pressure/light on during first or cold start.

Yeah I always wondered and when I saw the title it stressed me out for a sec. Glad to know its normal I bought a pressure testing kit online just because of that light and pressure was ok but I never felt good about it. Good to see another video I have learned a lot here and cant remember if I have said thanks

@@almagam2099 Hey I'm not looking for views or anything but I have a vid of my 86 up if your interested. The signal switch video saved me money and time who knows how much! My 88 pathy newish to me has a bug in tach and it only works until truck is warm. there is a bundle of tape and a black resistor coming just before the coil sort of like your tach video but this truck came with a tach stock. Can I post a vid of it and maybe you could tell me what you think they were doing if its for the tach or not? sry text wall ty for time.

@@almagam2099 its raining where I live but I opened the tape up and yeah its a little brown 2.2 on blue wire with white stripe and small black wire just like your video.. have to drive it this weekend but next one I will tear it apart thanks for your help

I really want to know what setup you have, gauges and mount.

The gauges and pod are from Glowshift . I've got a handful more of their gauges but haven't installed them yet. That I know of, they don't make pods for the d21. I had too trim a lot of the pod. Even so, there's still a lot of overhang from the pod. The pillars for the d21 are a bit on the thin side. Here's the link for their site: www.glowshiftdirect.com/

Installed gauges: -Oil pressure gauge, along with harness, adapter plate and sensor. "Stock sensor is still installed!" -RPM gauge, along with it's harness. -Water temperature gauge, along with it's harness, adapter plate and sensor. Gauges not installed: -speedometer gauge. -fuel level gauge. -voltage gauge. - I have at least one more gauge, but don't remember which one.
