Hi, this is Peggy with, Always A Find 4 You. I watch you guys all the time and want to thank you for your honesty on the time it takes things to sell. The KZbinrs who seem to sell everything within the moment it's listed, kinda takes my mojo down... lol. Keep it up and have a great day.

Matchstick holders were kept on the kitchen wall near the stove to light the oven. They were typically made with an opening on the side that was there in order to expose the striker on the side of the box of matches.

Literally every goodwill within a 40 mile range of me does not ever have anything like this on the shelves. It's 100% clothing, cups and plates, books, and junk

Like the other commenter said... learn about clothing name brands, both men's and women's... and I'm not talking about the typical brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Wrangler, North Face, etc. There are TONS of lesser-known name brands that sell for crazy money for whatever reasons?! I've always stuck to re-selling things I knew well like vintage toys, sporting / outdoors equipment, etc... but realized I was holding my potential back by not learning more about clothing. My profits have definitely gone up per monthly sales. Check out the YT channel "Resell Intell" for great clothing brand info to look out for.

I like these “things that sold” videos! BTW I put the cost of the item in my custom sku with the bin location. That way if I sell it or need to counteroffer, I know at a glance how much I paid for it. 😎

Reality is that you have to make $150 every day minimum. Everything after $150 is profit. Since you have to pay yourself as if your working a regular job

Good idea. I put the cost in the Note field. Wasn't sure the SKU was only visible to seller,

That’s for the videos! One tip I have for you is to note the sourcing price in your custom sku. It is easy access to remember purchase price and helpful when making offers. My custom sku is the tote number, date listed and purchase price.

Can you make a video about pros & cons of speacializing(just electronics, just clothes, just toys, just sports collectibles, etc) vs anything and everything. I like specializing(small kitchen appliances & vacuums) because I can get really good at it, but would have left a lot of money on the table if I had ignored everything outside my interests.
@helpfulcommenter

sometimes it comes down to your own space for storing inventory. i don't the have the space to store electronics and larger objects so i ignore them. selling clothes is extremely economical in terms of space, as is books, or... i don't know, stamps, coins, etc. also what the individual is willing to deal with in terms of shipping. personally i won't be selling hurricane lamps or cookie jars because the time it takes to safely pack it makes no sense for my life. when i can find a jacket i pay less for, sell for more, and can slam it right in a poly bag or cardboard box and send it on its way. ymmv

Really the best reason to not sell just one niche is you're going to find way more things to make money. If you're only looking for video games or electronics, then you could walk past thousands of dollars in Fire King etc. There are some niches I don't necessarily buy to sell, but I still try to learn about the most valuable items in those categories so I don't miss the high dollar items.

Fire King made the glass mixing bowls for the vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster electric stand mixers(for making cake batter and dough). Those bowls are alway missing when collectors aquire the mixers.

Hi Wick! Wow, what a bunch of cool, unique items!! I know it's so much work, but you can totally tell you love what you do!! I am a big Peanuts Fan so the Peppermint Patty plush was my favorite sale! I noticed some things sold fast and others slow, and that's the same with me, so I guess I'm not completely off track LOL Last night I sold something in like 10 minutes, and that was super exciting, but last week I sold a few things I had for like 3 years, so those were kind of a bust even though I made some money haha!! Liked and shared, thanks Wick!!

Wick thank you for the content you put out there very awesome love it. When you buy your board games and toys do you go through every board game and check for all they pieces or is there a site that you use to see what each board game pieces it’s suppose to have?
@FlippingJunk

Most games have the list of components on the box or in the manual. There is a website boardgamegeek that usually has a parts list I think if it's an older game and not with the game.

Hey, great video. You find some great stuff at your Goodwill stores. Quick question. You had a few sales that you said were listed 2 or 3 years. Whats your thoughts on the "end item and sell similar " issue? I watch a lot of different resellers channels and lots of opinions on whether its worth the time to do it or not. Thanks, keep up the good content.

I don't do it and I feel like it's fine. I expect it can help though, but if the item is bad then it's bad. Not a lot of people impulse buying on eBay, so if someone is searching for your item they should see it. I focus more on price and keywords.
