For a bit of technical info, the reason for the twist in the blade is due to the fact the upper most area is spinning faster than the lower area. The twist ensures the air being pushed off the blade is traveling at the same speed. The area where the twist is the greatest, the air will be pushed off the blade slower and that way reduces the chop that can cause a blade to fail.
