This has gotta be one of the most beautiful, emotional, well-edited femslash video there is and with such a tragic but incredible couple. I couldn't take my eyes off of it for a second to make sure I don't miss any detail but I will surely rewatch it a couple more times because it's just so mesmerazing. They really are so tragic, I'm forever going to be bitter about what happened. They both deserved better, Astrid especially didn't deserve what happened to her.

I had a lot of mixed feelings towards Astrid throughout the show. Doing things like having sex with Bjorn and then going back to Lagertha's bed.. But I loved what the show did with her, and I can't even begin to say how thrilled I am that they allowed Lagertha to be bi. I'm bi myself and plan on getting a Lagertha tattoo because she's the first powerful bi woman to really impact me. I loved how open Astrid and Lagertha seemed to be. Astrid understood that she was not Lagertha's first love, that Lagertha would probably always feel some longing towards Ragnar. She knew this and accepted it, never showing jealousy even when Ragnar comes to visit towards the end. I thought that was a wonderful choice on the writer's part, too many people would've used that as an opportunity to create hostility between the three. You did a wonderful job with this video. I've never heard the song before but it fit so well and I ended up restarting the video to watch again so that I could really appreciate the work that's gone into it. These two had a beautiful love and I'm glad that they were together in Astrid's last moments.

Thankyou sweetie ❤ I loved these two so much and I wasn't expecting to love Astrid as much as I did, I wish she hasn't had such a tragic ending. I agree with you about liking the lack of jealousy in their relationship in regards to ragnar. I'm gonna be honest, I feel a little like Astrid sleeping with Bjorn was just the writers wanting to get a hot het sex scene from them. It happened and then was never mentioned again after that episode.

@@Welcometocaritas vikings is not the same, this last season was a deception.. I watched few episodes from s01 and I missed the real vikings, I am glad next season is the last. But from last seasons Astrid charcters for Lagertha storyline was probably the best and they killed off so early and now Lagertha' story is bullshit.. AGH

Ahh, this is tragically lovely! I've never seen this show, but now I'm definitely intrigued! Both characters seem like women I'd love (but I guess I shouldn't get too attached. :/ I have a bad habit of falling for the doomed characters/ships/etc). Either way, I always love how layered your vids are, because most (myself included) would probably save the death for the end, but you put it early on and built on that so that we learned more with each second. Beautiful!

I always love your comments, they're so sweet and detailed. I appreciate them so much. Yeah don't get attached to the characters. You're safe with lagertha for now (she's survived five seasons) but be warned she goes through hell. I think I'd enjoy the show better if it treated its female characters better (especially when there's some pretty good ones in it) but it's still a good show. This ship had my heart, even though I knew it was going to end in tragedy. That's sort of why I started off the video with astrid's death because I knew going into the show what her fate was going to be and that added an extra layer of angst for me.

Su relación como amantes no podía perdurar. Pero su relación como amigas o hermanas es tipo alma gemela, Ragnar tuvo a Athelstan, aunque no fueron amantes si tenían una lealtad a prueba de todo lo terrenal. Lagertha tuvo algo parecido con Astrid. Solos que ellas sí lo llevaron al plano sexual. No puedo juzgar, quien soy yo para etiquetar??? Pero gracias a Dios nunca he vivido ése tipo de relaciones. Los dos finales muy tristes. Y éso no se lo deseo a nadie.
