I bought an 8bitdo ultimate controller for Xmas, and i found it so solid and comfortable! So, I think that it's better than the fusion for drifting too. Whatever, I advice you to buy an 8bitdo 'cause for me it's the best . Merry Xmas holidays guys!

Thanks for the review Cameren. I plan on getting an ultimate controller eventually. I have 3 pro controllers, 2 of which drift until I take them apart and blow compressed air through the stick modules.

The PowerA controller doesn’t have rumble because it’s officially licensed. Nintendo doesn’t allow third party accessory manufacturers to include the Switch branding or logos unless they omit that feature. If you look at the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the Fusion Pro controller then you’ll notice that both of those have rumble support though.

Thx for the review Cameren! Did you find many games to have issues with the joysticks' inability to move 100% when using the Power A Fusion? That seems like a headache and taking the faceplate off wouldn't fly for me, but I love all the other features of the Power A! Love both! Don't care for motion controls/rumble/charging dock so those points are moot to me. Just really care about the ability to map buttons to the paddles. Love that the ultimate controller has a feature to mitigate drift and can be used on PC (which I also do gaming on). If it had 2 more paddles on the back and allowed mapping the paddles without software like the Power A Fusion, it would be clear cut winner. Such a hard decision! Glad to know both are comfy.

The Fusion Power A Controller can be used on PC, as steam input fully supports switch pro controllers which is great for gyro users. But having no analog triggers can make it less ideal for racing games. The ultimate controller is great for racing games on PC but being recognized as an xbox controller means no gyro. So each controller has it's pros and cons on PC.

@@1607Adi_Manz xbox controllers don't have gyro technology built in. Even though the 8bitdo ultimate controller does have the technology, it's recognized as an xbox controller on PC.

I recently discovered that If you connect the Ultimate controller through bluetooth on your PC, It actually recognizes It as a switch pro controller. If It doesn't, you just haver to turn it on and off, and you should be able to go. Steam reads the gyro, and you can even emulate a DS4 for other games too if you want gyro.
