I have not seen many options for torque converters available in a drag racing applications, but I got curious when you started talking about a "clutch pedal" option. Do you think the internal clutch that controls the clutch function could control the rpm of a 1000+hp turbo V8 engine staging and launching at 5k-6k rpm?

There Is a guy on KZbin who 8HP swapped a Toyota Land Cruiser(?) and added 4WD, perhaps looking into what he did could help. I think he also 8HP swapped a Skyline that was AWD
