Sweet! Love it. Love my original Trailwalker, but it’s definitely a shelf queen modelled after the pickup we had when I was a kid (with the optional canopy on the bed). FYI, the original Trailwalker did come with the roll bar in the spare parts bag. I like the 1.9" tires and the aggressive trimming on the Black Edition. Will definitely pick one up and make it my first weathered body. Hopefully the inner fenders still fit those wheel wells. This is why I love Element RC. Every release is like, oh wow, I didn’t see that coming. They keep finding novel ways to iterate on a proven, capable chassis.

This is awesome. I have been building WW2 RC planes and my favorite part was taking a brand-new shiny kit and weathering it up. Especially carrier-based Hellcats that have salt spray all over the front of the wings. Weathering WW2 planes helped me transfer into scale-building RC crawlers/scalers. It's relaxing putting in the work on RC cars since I know I'm not going to crash it from 100ft high at 90 mph into the ground.

i mean its not exactly a new technology, i remember stuffing up a body or 2 like 15 years ago before i new about tamiya paint remover (best stuff ever) and just painting them flat black on the out side (masking the windows of course), also id say the indented and more fun way to use a body like this would not be to sit there and carefully sand the "lexen" body like its a highly detailed hard body would be to just charge up some batteries and take it for a spin, your going to acquire ware and tear over time just like in real life

There’s a lot of new releases right now & I have a Sendero HD & custom Ecto & the new SE. They should’ve put the new transmission in it like the SE & although you can do it yourself they should’ve had it in already but it’s hard to complain for 389$ or whatever it is. I like the body that’s what draws me. But my plans where to get the new Redcat till now maybe. Both are not in stock so maybe I’ll decide by which one becomes available first.

He got dick cepek tires I have iroks, other than that his is stock, my motor fried after a beach trip, and I killed the stock servo. But I absolutely abuse mine....I call it beernuts just to give ya an idea. They're s been many times that I've submerged it, I will take it up or down a trail wide open for as far as the eye can see or until it is fully stuck.
