This case is very interesting. Thanks for reviewing it! You’ve now done the “sensible” build. It would be cool to see an “average” build with midrange parts , and then an “extreme” build with overkill parts and possible mild case modification to get temps as low as possible. Thanks again for the interesting and entertaining content!

Got one of these - amazingly, an EVGA RTX 3060Ti at 202mm "just" fits in the case (I would say there is a little more room even - perhaps for a card up to 205mm long...) . My build uses a 5700G. I used an SFX PS (Focus 650W), so while in theory there should now be more room in the case, the longer cables made installation a PITA. Had to uninstall/install several pieces to get everything in (RAM, SSD, PS). The PS fan faces UP, which is not good, no holes there (I decided to stand the case on the side so that the MB is on the bottom; I could make the PS fan face down, but there is a little tab for mounting an ATX PS in the way of the switch - it can be cut or bent, I suppose). But even if the PS fan faces down, the PS fan is hardly used, so air does not really flow through the PS. After booting, running into a fairly huge issue - CPU temp is out of control. In a 22C room, idling 50C, if anything needs to use the CPU for a prolonged time, it jumps to mid-90s quickly. Using stock fan for now, and did not reapply paste, so there is some room for improvement, but the major problem is that with the 3060Ti, there is really no more room for a fan so air can flow through the case. It is really stagnant in there, and that's a huge issue. Debating how to solve this issue without making this build a monstrosity. Was very excited to get it, now I'm a little worried if I can make it work for me. (I remember a friend of mine had a similar heat issue - his solution was to open the case and blast a huge external fan onto the case innards - it worked, but was very ghetto, lol).

Me like that :DDD I was just thinking about deskmini X300 for some basic gaming pc in living room, hoping to find older model with MXM graphic card, but in this case, I'm probably going with that but putting in 5600x (if boots) with challenger ITX version of 6600xt 8gb and with some mods looks like it could handle AIO or a custom loop with 240mm (probably on outer side of the case, like I said, mods necessary) so in this case would even consider 5800(x3d) and a gpu version with smaller pcb as possible, maybe even some RTX founders edition and custom loop w/ cpu-gpu blocks. Love that has 4 USB-A + type-C on the front. Looks perfect for "steam deck OS" PC, the "all gamepad controlled" PC just for gaming, you can just remote into for managing, but you can just create a startup script to boot directly in some frontend for gaming library and just go

VERY interested in a higher end build. Could we do a TUNED 5800x or a Stock 5600x with a Blackridge or Noctua L12s, 3060ti, and maybe a 750 or 850w SFX PSU? With SFX PSU, what is the CPU cooler height limitation? 65mm? 70mm? I think the stock height limitation is like 54mm with their modified ATX PSU... so stock PSU is like 54mm clearance... at that point you COULD do a 5600X and an L9a.
