It is almost impossible to get to my harness to find right terminal. Do I have to use the resistance or will just driving my swap also allow it to learn. I'm having shift issues 8l90 with gen5 lt1

Thanks! Great info as always. Has anyone tried this with any scanners besides Snap-on? I tried it using a VCX Nano with the GM GDS2 software but the GDS2 software will not let you run the fast learn without the BCM attached. I was getting an error that stated "request rejected by the control module". When I drilled down on the TCM errors, it showed a loss of communication with the BCM (the body control module is not installed in my swap) and would not process any TCM diagnostics. I was curious if the GDS2 software was preventing me from moving forward with the fast learn or the TCM truly would not run a fast learn without a BCM.

Just buy a 2015 sierra denali 6.2 harness. Just did an 8l90 with a 2018 8l90 trans with an unlocked t87a from a 2017 yukon. Worked out for me when I plugged it all in. I have a 2014 sierra original 6l80.
