I kept having to refocus on the words, because the scenery is sooooo pretty. Also, re: the whole topic, 🤯🤯🤯🤯…. NOTES!!! Have you done a run cast about food/ post weight-in refueling. I’m still at the level of day-of weigh ins and the science of refueling is just not getting there… it’s really frustrating. With that being said, this run cast really clarified energy usage and how to explain to my teammates/coach what I need ( I have one teammate who I think he thinks he’s being helpful, but he always mentions how much he knows the opponent/gym and how they are really good, strong, etc…… the complete opposite of hype man). Anyways ,🤯🤯🤯🤯 seriously thank you. Oh and what is this women fight you talked about? I want to try and find it on KZbin.

Just adding my opinion, I feel like the type of refueling you need depends a lot on what type of weight cut you're doing. So someone who tries to cut a lot of water the last couple days will have different needs from someone who does a long slow weight cut over a few weeks. Of course there's always going to be some level of water manipulation but you know what I mean, some people really dry themselves out. Is your main training through the week conditioning and drilling or cardio and weight training? Knowing your body is important too. When I'm in camp fish and rice make weight fall off of me. Plain hot tea a few times a day as well; trail mix and protein shakes for cravings. Some people like yogurt with fruit or granola mixed in. Sorry for the unsolicited advice, good luck on your journey!

@@Yuuki_12 thank you, any direction and pointers is helpful. I usually cut with focus on eliminating carbs slowly as the fight date come closer (knowing to keep enough for fuel), but I’m actually thinking to try water loading next camp because when I drop weight I drop it fast and then feel depleted. So maybe keeping my diet more whole and working on eliminating water correctly could be a better choice for my body type. Fighter IQ for just the food/hydration part makes us PHDs , I swear.
