How do we know that the casino didn't suppress the report because it makes the casino staff the higher-ups like worse. Maintaining proper distance in a potential conflict does not mean fear. A person lunging with a knife can be very dangerous. And proper distance ensures that officers' weapons stay in their control and that they have time to deploy them. You also presume that they were 100% certain the person was their suspect or that they have the full story. Nothing pathetic, just proper escalation of force approach. And it was one cop and one casino security retreating, everyone else was creating a perimeter around the area. If they were certain he was there and their guy and knew it was a stabbing, one officer would not approach alone like that to make an arrest - especially with the others in the room. And low odds the officers are tied into the hotel security channels, which is why security was probably there to make the ID. So yeah, backing up makes tons of sense when you have the overwhelming advantage overall.

I was in Vegas 2 years agonon the anniversarybof the MGM Shooting of the music festival and some guy opened fire in the Flamingo casino while inwas playing Roulette. Everyone dropped to the floor and started running everywhere. I left like 1600 in chips on the table and took off, picked some guy up out of a wheelchair and started running with him on my shoulder. Sh*t was CRAZY
