If an off duty security officer made contact with this suspect early that evening , and the suspect made comments that if the officer was in uniform probably would take action on , why didn’t this off duty security officer report to this to his colleagues, says a lot of what the casino employees think of their job status and job interest.
@QueenKnight.2 ай бұрын
Would not be internal though, the information. It's an ongoing report how do we know he didn't report it to the casino. How do we know that the casino didn't suppress the report because it makes the casino staff the higher-ups like worse. And also he's an off-duty security guard security guards are not the same as police officers and off-duty means off duty so why would he have the responsibility to report on every person who seems to be high or on drugs or offering drugs or drunk at a place where that unfortunately is the norm? I mean I'm just saying that it's all going to be speculatory on our part so I'm just glad no one was killed. That's got to be terrifying to go to work and realize that you might not come back home because someone desides to attack people at random. Really hope this guy is not able to make bail, unless whatever underlying issues he may have are being adequately addressed and he is no longer a threat buuuuuut at this point I think you should stay behind bars.

Fact: When a sociopath is in predator mode, they absolutely DO growl, like a possessed animal. They may speak words in English, but aside from that, the sounds that come out of them do not even remotely sound human. This is not hyperbole. You sincerely have to experience this to really comprehend what it sounds like. The trauma from experiencing this sociopathic display is an utterly chilling phenomenon and can easily leave a once psychologically healthy human with full blown PTSD. Sometimes, the more crippling symptoms won't fully set in for months, sometimes it's instantaneous, and the fortunate have a loving, nurturing family who will help keep their brain from ever developing PTSD.

An entire group of police officers were scared into retreating because a single person lunged at them?? That is so pathetic.

Pretty sure you wouldn't have done anything different yourself John Wick
@opieg73333 ай бұрын
Maintaining proper distance in a potential conflict does not mean fear. A person lunging with a knife can be very dangerous. And proper distance ensures that officers' weapons stay in their control and that they have time to deploy them. You also presume that they were 100% certain the person was their suspect or that they have the full story. Nothing pathetic, just proper escalation of force approach. And it was one cop and one casino security retreating, everyone else was creating a perimeter around the area. If they were certain he was there and their guy and knew it was a stabbing, one officer would not approach alone like that to make an arrest - especially with the others in the room. And low odds the officers are tied into the hotel security channels, which is why security was probably there to make the ID. So yeah, backing up makes tons of sense when you have the overwhelming advantage overall.

I was in Vegas 2 years agonon the anniversarybof the MGM Shooting of the music festival and some guy opened fire in the Flamingo casino while inwas playing Roulette. Everyone dropped to the floor and started running everywhere. I left like 1600 in chips on the table and took off, picked some guy up out of a wheelchair and started running with him on my shoulder. Pretty much attempted murder and he still has the option for bail to continue being a risk to the public? Vegas, Clark county, or whoever it is obviously doesn't give a shit about anyone.

Because it's not attempted murder Matlock. Even if it was, everyone is entitled to bail unless it's a capital offense.

@jeffdur1330 oh because he didn't stab with intent to kill. Gotcha. I liked Matlock but didn't watch it much. And I'm familiar with the bail laws, just not so much in agreement with them. Thanks for the clarification there. Take care and may you be blessed.
