I’d love an edf unit like that! The sound is excellent! Also Very impressive looking carbon/nylon blades! Did you have to smooth or sand them at all? the billet aluminium is nice looking too! Much nicer than my cheap e flite and similar ones!

Wojtek, Di I see it right…. 6s packs of Samsung t40 , it is 2 cell series x 6 groups parallel = 12 cells total? Add nickel and wiring , and covering to get to 945 g then parallel 2 of these for the HET- 700-68 -2100kv motor?

very very very nice! what is the KV of the odissey 40mm motor you will use with 12S please? Also the jp hobby rotor is gorgeous in your 3d printed edf, and what do you think about an edf design with a fixed spinner like the original jp are, dont you think it could be way more effective without a rotative spinner? thx

The motor is 1100kv, 550g. Yes you are right, I am 3d printing now the fixed spinner version of the 120 edf.

"8s 208 Amps 5,5 kW." There is no way that Samsung 40T in 3P configuration delivered 200+ Amps. Physically impossible, this must be a measurement error. I am building the same setup right now (Avanti with HET 1400 and 8S3P Molicel P42 :)

Excellent! But as far as I have understood it you draw 54 Amps at 2x 6S and 69,3 Amp at 3x 8S from the batteries ?! How long can a T40 resist this stress? I own a Sebart Avanti Mini with a DS-51-AXI HDS / HET-700-68-2100kV. I think it would fly nice on 2x 6s Samsung 40T. Approx 50A from each battery. You could push full throttle quite a lot. With bellow 40A per battery you can fly full throttle from takeoff till landing.
