I have the Avanti S v2. I will make very sharp balsa trailing edges and see what it does… Stock setup I got 225kmh so I hope to push 275

6:45 That is absolutely not true. You WILL smell the resin, and you should never be 3d printing in a room that people use unless your printer is in an enclosure that's ventilated to the outside. Opening a window is not going to cut it.

3:56 Wiping those gloves with paper towels isn't enough to get them clean. There will undoubtedly be uncured resin left on them, which will then get on everything they touch. That's one of the reasons people use "disposable" gloves.

It is not, he choses his EDF setups meticulously and above that he plays with 'cheater'holes close to the intake (if you watch closely, intro on the jet, side top side, he has a triangular cheater hole cut). Above that the camera setup he is using is paired with a directional microphone. It is all real sounds (and sound is not only the EDF, the airframe, etc all contribute), should watch more of his videos...

I'm sorry that I didn't get into the hobby while you were doing videos. If you or any of your viewers can recommend an ESC for 7s and up maybe 120 minimum amps . I'm not rich or I would spend 400 $ on a high voltage SPEKTRUM. That's what I run is SPEKTRUM. But wanted to check out something else. Bec or not I can go either way. I'm on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. So shipping cost can be an issue as well. Thanks so much for your videos hopefully you are healthy and same with your brother in law.

Sorry I am a very late subscriber but I just picked up the hobby one year ago. I have advanced quite fast and love your non stock set up. Let alone how you are making your own batteries. I wish you had new content but your old stuff is all still new to me. I am very interested in lots more you have to share. As well if you still have a drawer full of stuff like edfs and ESC I would be interested in purchasing some. Not rich but happy and love going fast. Hopefully you are well and same to your family. why would u use Li ion battery? what the difference between the lipo and li ion? ive never try that before

The quick answer is Lipo's dump their voltage quickly and can only fly for 3-4 min. Lions take much longer to loose voltage and can fly for 8min if you use a 2s lion pack which will weigh the same as 1 lipo pack.

@@IanChen-m1o Yes.. My 6s2p 9000mah Lion pack weighs the same as two 6s1p 4500 lipo packs. But my pack is just slightly larger than 1 Lipo pack. So I'm getting the equivalent of 2 Lipo packs in a plane that can only handle 1 Lipo. FreeWing Avanti and others.

My first 6S1P Molicel P45B pack weights without plastic holders (because I did another geometry and some special tape on contacts) just 426g ready to fly!!! I was amazed!!

Hi Wojtek, this is the x time I see this video. Today again because on the weekend after crashing two planes I did something good and soldered my first p45b 6S pack. I had a voltage drop to 3,45V but steady on that voltage. That meant around 10-15% decrease in thrust compared to my best graphene lipo. So to have more power I´ll need to go 7S or 8S or use motors with more KV which isn´t so handy having many different planes. But I was pulling just 47A without almost any heat. I´ll keep on them. Cool that your XT60s work also on that heavy current! I´m now also using them. Cheers!

At one point I recall you initializing an esc with either a dead battery or with a smaller cell count battery then flying it on more voltage or cells. Can you point me to that video? Or do a video about how you tested if your esc would manage that or if it is something that can be done with other esc too

I enjoy all this videos! Just the landings are sometimes rough but the landing gear seems to work fine! I’ll begin to fly LiIons and maiden my Avanti and L-39… I have also some 90mm with room for LiIon and ordered 26 pieces of P45Bs, now for €5,20 :D
