as a govt employee - though i'm a youngest employee in my office and work faster than other in the office. still i'm against the performance based salary hikes. it allowed officers and officials to be more corrupt, harassment in the office(particularly for women). it leads to the mental illness to the officials. and many more causes.

So what's the solution to ensure that every govt employee works as hard as you? Because the current system does make it easy for people to slack off. Its the main reason govt job exams have so many candidates. The thought process behind wanting a govt job is corrupt in itself for most of our citizens. Govt jobs should be taken up by those who want to serve the country. Not by those who want to consolidate a lifelong solid income stream for themselves.

I am in Indian army... And According to my experience... Indian Army is completely a teamwork... If you bring such foolish rules... Unnecessary competition will arise among the organisation... Which will not be good.... and dear mind it Indian Army is not a sales company....

Before writing use your head. projects are not done by poltiicians but Officers.i am currently working on private which is doing a particular job for a Public Psu company, and i have seen i am doing 5 times the work done by those working in psu and their salary is 5 times greatter then mine. Despite zero contribution in the company aside from just coming to office they are earning more than private employee.

I have total 19 years of experience out of which 11 years in private organisation and 8 years in govt sector at level equivalent to class-1 officer. Worked under 4-5 bosses in private sector under performance based system, some bosses always given me excellent grade and promotions while some given me below average performance grade. In my opinion it was not because of my actual performance rather because of my thinking and opinion matching with the bosses. So it depends, sometimes a good performing person may not get fair performance grade.

Favouritism i.e chatukarita is the main problem in govt jobs. It shouldn't be criteria behind giving salary hike. Inflation ajdusted salary should be way forward.

They should hire more, in India govt services still account for 3.4 % whereas in most big economies it's around 16-17 % (China, US). Instead of giving more salaries to few people they should give salaries to more people. More economic resilience.

ये बहुत ही दुर्भाग की बात होगी अगर ये लागू होगा मैं सेंट्रल goverment मे हूँ पिछले साल मेरे director ने मुझे अपना steblizer बनाने के लिए बोले थे मैंने नही बनवाया तो मुझे APAR मे 6 पॉइंट diya जो की सबसे कम था बाकी लोगों को 8 - 9 के बीच दिया .. ये performance नही relationship Mark's hota hai or jab salary इसपर निर्भर हो जायेगा तो यह पुरी तरह से Corruption - Relationship insensitive scheme मे बदल जायेगा

In private sector appraisal depends on personal performance & team work. People are doing well. And also it depends on the relationship with boss. Best way to judge is by maintaining data based on KPI, so that manager can prove why someone is getting more hike than others.

I think gov. Jobs ka fecilities ko kam ker dena chiye, kyou ki most of the youth doing prepration to get gov. job. Lakin jobs bhout hi kam logo ko mil pati hai. अब govt job में काम करना पड़ेगा तभी सैलरी मिलेगी। निकम्मे लोगों की सैलरी कम करनी चाहिए ।जॉब से बाहर निकालो। बिना काम किए सैलरी लेनी की आदत पड़ गई है। सरकार को काम कॉन्टैक्ट पर करवाना चाहिए। सरकारी जॉब में सिर्फ उन्हें ही रखना चाहिए जो ईमानदारी से अच्छी क्षमता से काम करे।
