as a govt employee - though i'm a youngest employee in my office and work faster than other in the office. still i'm against the performance based salary hikes. it allowed officers and officials to be more corrupt, harassment in the office(particularly for women). it leads to the mental illness to the officials. and many more causes.

Its the main reason govt job exams have so many candidates. The thought process behind wanting a govt job is corrupt in itself for most of our citizens. I have total 19 years of experience out of which 11 years in private organisation and 8 years in govt sector at level equivalent to class-1 officer. Worked under 4-5 bosses in private sector under performance based system, some bosses always given me excellent grade and promotions while some given me below average performance grade. In my opinion it was not because of my actual performance rather because of my thinking and opinion matching with the bosses. So it depends, sometimes a good performing person may not get fair performance grade.

Sir, I am a government employee and I know how it works. Maximum number of employees only praise their seniors to get a good APAR score. If they implement performance based then real hard working individual will suffer. There is no recognition here.

अब govt job में काम करना पड़ेगा तभी सैलरी मिलेगी। निकम्मे लोगों की सैलरी कम करनी चाहिए ।जॉब से बाहर निकालो। बिना काम किए सैलरी लेनी की आदत पड़ गई है। सरकार को काम कॉन्टैक्ट पर करवाना चाहिए। सरकारी जॉब में सिर्फ उन्हें ही रखना चाहिए जो ईमानदारी से अच्छी क्षमता से काम करे।
