My LGS did not do the prize support for take home kits this time it was disappointing they just charged 80 CAD taxes in for the kit. I bought two kits and that “broke the bank” for me it was the price of a standard booster box which I can’t afford usually ever but I love MH. 5 kits could be more than a collector booster box but more value

I've heard people say that all the LGS get the prize support specifically to give out with the kits so that's kind of scummy if they do not hand them out. They are most likely just selling the boxes or loose packs to make more money. I avoid those types of LGS.

played on 7 and 8, 60.000CLP, being that 65 bucks, after the first one one, they sold to everyone there any amount of packs at the same price, they just made a "new pre-release" . they also cracked 2 collector boxes and sold them all there. bought nothing of that, but made my pre-release money back with an ugins laberynt year stamped, a Ral (that day it was at 10 bucks tho), bitrhing ritual, blue flare, shifting woodland. I do reserved a bindle gift box, the one that comes with 9 packs, 1 collector, and some gifts for 100$

I got myself a bundle for this set, in total I got 3 fetches and 1 kozilek and 2 winter moons. It’s certainly nice but really hoped to get ulamog and any of the free spells… really hope prices goes down like you said though, as an eldrazi fan those are definitely on top of my list

I agree that Ocelot Pride is pretty overhyped for a creature that dies to Bowmasters, but I'm very interested in it for my Cat Typal Commander deck!

Yeah definitely good in Commander, but I don't think it's doing anything in Modern.

@@8thPlaceDave It will be included in every token white decks... thast like 90% of all commander decks with white :D It will propably be expesive card for longer :(

7:44 - You can't tell me what to do! Me and a buddy both bought a pre-release kit (With 1 additional pack for $75) to test our luck, and we both did pretty solid. He ended up getting an Ulamog, Nethergoyf (Which he wanted for Modern Jund) and a Red Flare. I pulled an Ugin's Labyrinth, a Promo Ral and a Nadu.

Why not play limited with your friends using these kits and after your done take the cards a make a video showcasing everything? Would love it if you would also film the games and then post them with minimal editing !

Even with minimal editing, filming any kind of gameplay takes waaay longer than a video like this. I've tried it in the past and, in my experience, unfortunately it wasn't worth the extra time and effort

My draft was ok, i got 5 fetchlands and pretty much played with a bunch of ok unc and com cards still made 7th out of 34

It's weird to me that Eladamri, Korvecdal isn't hyped. The card is literally broken. For 3 mana you get a 3/3 elf (great for Elf tribals) that lets you cast the cards from the top of your library. Already busted. But wait, there's more! Remember that 4 mana Elvish Piper that let you cheat in a big creature from your hand for one green? You can now do that with a 3 mana Eladamri if you tap two other creatures and it also works with the creature on top of your library.

Congrats on the Ulamog the Defiler pull! I know its a major long shot, but would you consider selling it to me signed?? It would be my prized possesion. Made a Zhulodok deck that this would slap in. 😅😇 my pod loves your videos man!!!

Do you think advertising picking up packs like this makes it harder for anyone wanting to do an actual at-home pre release and disincentivizes vendors from doing this sort of thing? I guess not many vendors do it anyway. I looked all over trying to find one for my playgroup to no avail. Despite my critical comment, love the content.
