Looking very good mate . I can just imagine it with a truck cab and a jet boat on the back of it

Hi. Good work. Are the files for the 3d prited parts available? This would be a good project when i am done with the Ragnarok 😅

Thanks, I'm pleased to see you interested in building this despite how intricate it might look! The Kolos 8x8 files are not available yet. I am looking forward to the point when this design gets ready for a public release, but so far at this moment I enjoy this more like a personal project rather than a refined build for the community. Long way to go:)

Tatra- style swing axles ? If so... 😃
@mjetdevelopment8 ай бұрын
Yes! Chassis inspired by Tatra 813. That one did not have a cycloidal gearbox in every wheel tho😀

@@mjetdevelopment Well... then Off-road capabilities will be near endless!!! With the MAN Kat 1, probably the best Off-road trucks ever built ..... curious to see the progress

Hi, its looking great. is it any chance get the STLs? Where can i get them from ? Thank you
@mjetdevelopment7 ай бұрын
Thanks! The STLs will probably be available for purchase once I finish it. But I am not rushing the development and it's still long way to go. I will be uploading more progress on this channel.

Hi, this is your model? Or where I can find or buy this model? It is impressive. Many thanks Which scale ist this Tatra?
@mjetdevelopment5 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes, it is my model. It is not published anywhere yet, and it still needs lots and lots of development before I will consider selling 3D printable files for it. Scale is approximately 1/11, inspired by Tatra 813, but making it fully scale realistic is not the goal.

Do you think that long drive shaft will stay straight? I would have thought you would need u joints between each diff. That chassis must be pretty stiff.
@mjetdevelopment8 ай бұрын
This would be a valid point if the shaft was thicker. As it is now, it is actually flexible enough to not create any problems of this kind, even though it is not perfectly straight by itself. The chassis is very stiff indeed. The previous version (which I built here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHuxiX-YqdlmaqMsi=t2wLYV22ptEsFI1Y) was using the shaft joints everywhere, but during the first long run, after about 30 minutes all grub screws in the joints came loose. Therefore I decided to use a long shaft now, because I don't find any amount of thread locker to be a satisfying solution. The long shaft design creates more problems with the maintenance tho. As it is in this video, for example only changing the belt in the motor gearbox would require to open all axles, remove all set screws and pull the shaft out. A different solution is necessary, I have for example a rectangular shaft in mind that won't require any set screws; that also requires redesigning the axles.
