You can feel every emotion in this soundtrack. One of the most powerful and emotional documentaries I’ve watched.

So I’m not the only one fascinated by this soundtrack - it’s genius!

Why can’t most movies be as good as this soundtrack alone?

No you Are Not alone. The Symphonies Are hauntingly Beautiful. The First Time Ive heard this, someone has cut a bunch of onions 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Absolute perfection from beginning to end. One of the most raw, emotional soundtracks ever conceived for any type of media. Can’t stop listening ❤😢❤

This soundtrack is very moving and beautiful, albeit the tragedy of that sad day. This composer is very gifted.

I absolutely agree with you. It’s hard to not listen to it and want to cry. Both for what happened and the people who died and how it changed everything.

Been a tradition for me to listen to this score every September. Such an incredibly emotional, mournful score. Really wish Schweitzer got to release a full album, by far the best 9/11 documentary I’ve ever seen and the music certainly helped achieve that. Never forget.
@Nieds80Ай бұрын
I agree tenfold with you. I make it a point to listen to it each anniversary and quite often in between. Without a doubt the best documentary of 9/11 I’ve seen. Just breaks your heart doesn’t it?

First Strike haunts me. It won't stay out of my head. It perfectly depicts the groaning, creaking sounds of warped steel (as does From the Wreckage) and the horror of the dead bodies trapped or smashed therein. The refrain follows me into my nightmares

When I saw in memoriam playing on tv and when it showed the kid with the hot wheels in front of the oven. I broke down in tears. I cried more seeing the 2 towers in the clouds. Like they were entering heaven. Like siblings..
@michaeltheshahАй бұрын
That was Bernard C. Brown. He was on his way to LA as part of a National Geographic field trip. His pic in front of the oven stuck out to me as well because I have a similar picture of myself playing with hot wheels in the kitchen. It really hit home for me

I think Loss hits me the hardest. Because you hear piano notes of hope then the sharp violin cuts it in two... It's truly the most painful for me. Really haunting how they made the violin sound so similar to an airplane flying over, fast and descending. Chilling.

Just so heartbreaking, how terrified I was when I first learned the story and tragedy of that fateful day. I cry every time I think about it. I watched the National Geographic documentary about it and the survivors. It broke me. This video does the same for me. God bless those souls. 🙏

0:28 does anyone else think that sounds like a siren wailing or is that just me?
@ladyfarona1988Ай бұрын
Yes, sounds like a siren to me too. There's other parts of the soundtrack that, to me, sounds like a plane falling out of the sky as well. 😢 This whole soundtrack is a masterpiece.

Whenever I listen to this, I get the chills and I look at my NYC skyline pictures in my bedroom and I have a picture of the twin towers and I just cry whenever I look at it and listen to this soundtrack. Rest in peace those souls! 🤍🤍

Things have never been the same and I know we need to have hope and look to the future as a bright one but it’s hard to feel or see anything of that nowadays. I’m sorry if I sound pessimistic or fatalistic. I’m not trying to be either, but ever since 9/11, it feels like things have just grown darker in too many ways.
