My father told me that my grandfather used to have an Opel Kadett. It produced only 55hp and it was the car my dad first drove. Maybe its because of this fact that I adore this car and the engine sound it produces...

In Australia we have these cars but they are a Holden Gemini, and they had Isuzu instead of Opel engines. I have a 1979 4door sedan which I plan to build with a K24 and BRZ 6spd I got. It was my 2nd car and I have had it for 18 years 😅🤗

Bit unrealistic, Honda unit with variable timing and In. geometry along with an alloy block has to be the best option up to 2.0Ltr's on a production basis. If your talking purpose built competition power units, then thats not so straight forward😁

They were sold as the Vauxhall Chevette in the United Kingdom from 1975 to 1984. I think they might have been locally assembled in the plants at Bedfordshire, Luton, Cheshire and Ellesmere Port using Opal parts, like how the Holden Gemini was built in Australia.

Tremendous! This car is Always a favorite when it shows up in the TopXX compilations. Sounds like a bike if you close your eyes, driven 11/10ths every time, screaming to redline.
@SpeedandPower7 ай бұрын
