For all my life I’ve been wearing Gel but last school year (my junior year) I started to hate the feeling and the shiny look so I stopped using it and because of that my hair would always be a mess and not in a good way. I don’t know this for sure, but I think it might be a bad idea putting the oil and product together. Put the oil first. Otherwise the product can block out the oil, and the oil can alter how the product holds your hair.
