Do you “agree” with the new protocols and does anything surprise you?

Angela Martin wow! Yes I understand. I have one for New Years as well and so far still on. I think we’ll know more in the next week or 2. Things can change a lot until then, possibly even itinerary. What cruise ship is it?

Richard Deason that’s awesome!! I agree overall the protocols are very similar in Europe. They seem to be working very well!! However you prefer to book your cruise is totally fine. No right and wrong way, but glad this works for you :)

I agree with the new protocol's but it would be interesting to find out how they are going to handle the 5 day prior testing for those passengers that will be out of country and flying in prior to the 5 days. I for one am Canadian and don't have a problem going in for a test here at home but that would be almost 8 days prior the the sail date. The reason is that it doesn't cost us to get it and I know to get it done in the states they will charge us and arm and a leg.

I am curious as well, though living in the United States we usually do a land vacation prior to the cruise.
@LifeWellCruised4 жыл бұрын
Deb Wright you’re right. I’m Canadian too and I also wonder. I’m imagining a lot can still change until November and even later. I’m also very curious how this will go
@LifeWellCruised4 жыл бұрын
2Librarycat this definitely is a good question for the cruise lines to address. Sounds like it could be more complicated than i first thought

Jon Kelly none of the cruise lines are saying anything about future cruises just yet. They have been vocal that they want to cruise again and plan for November and that they are ready. Now it’s up to CDC and other factors. Let’s hope we hear from them this week 🤞

I’m just wondering if later in next year like end of May if some of the protocols will be lifted?? Well I hope so I’m planning a cruise end of May and right now the test for Covid can take up to two weeks to get back. So if they going to test by that point I hope they will have the test at the terminal that takes a few mins to get back.
@lizrockrollnow4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info! Where will we all get our Covid tests before the cruise? Will pharmacies have a test available with a small fee? I would want that to be easy and cheap.
@lizrockrollnow4 жыл бұрын
I just saw on the news that airports will start charging $57 for a covid test.

Donald Wolverton great to hear Donald. I agree I definitely want to hear from cruise lines about potential compensation for the same reasons. What a nightmare that could be...

@@LifeWellCruised I will be on the MSC in SA.
@LifeWellCruised4 жыл бұрын
Stephnie Daubermann they haven’t said exactly yet. Royal Caribbean will be using Muster 2.0 which is a mostly remote muster drill on your phone or cabin tv. MSC may have that technology too, but to my knowledge they haven’t announced it yet. When I hear I’ll remember to update this in a future video. It’s a great question

I am not sure I understand, is it the only way I can get off the ship is if I have an excursion booked through the cruise company. So no getting off and just walking around and explore on my own?
@LifeWellCruised4 жыл бұрын
Jim Hickling exactly. Keep in mind this is one of the new protocols that will be modified once it’s safer to do so. Early cruises will have this, according to all cruise lines right now. Do you have a cruise booked Jim?

Hi Ilana, we're still good to go with these protocols. Nothing unexpected. Let's get 'er done and get up and runnin'. Hi from Bob and Jill in Connecticut thinking how we can make faces at people behind our masks and no one knows. Heck I van even stick my 👅 out at Jill if I don't like something she says too.
