very interesting channel !!!! i was told to watch and this was my first time watching. true humored from the start. the length of this video grabbed my attention being that the length 11:29 is my birthday lol. my female friend told me i shouldve done one of these videos years ago. since a kid ive been groomed by my dad who was always taking care of himself from clothing shaving and stance to the words he used at all times. now 55yrs old ive never dropped the ball worked hard my whole life maintained my body weather its skin nails hair teeth classic style of dressing that has never been wrinkled or worn out. the best in casual clothing to amazing suits and a healthy weekly workout. ive also been the single father of my daughter since she was 7. her mother passed away and that being told i never dropped the ball with catering to a young ladies needs from hair being done clothing perfumes and now 32 she has continued to not only continues to maintain but as a mom to a 6yr old son hes into being clean when not playing in the dirt but loves showers and smell good products and has amazing manners. SOOOOO my question to you is why on gods green earth does my very attractive daughter find herself picking guys that absolutely in my option refuse to maintain themselves !!!! hair months behind in needing cut beards nothing short of disgusting and dressing like hobos with zero respect for themselves and respect for others when out in public. days between showers !!! im a non smoker and my daughter is as well but she dates guys that not only smoke but often chain smoke !! there not even attractive !!! not that looks are everything or even a requirement to be a good person. none of the guys she has dated make sense to me or anyone else that know her.. im terrified to this day to even ask her WHY !!!

I have a video idea: how to keep a relationship going past the initial stages. I feel most men and women only know how to get through the first few stages of a relationship before they just learn to coast hoping for it to last. It’s be interesting to hear your opinion and tips on how to keep a relationship going whether it ends or not.
@CourtneyRyan3 жыл бұрын
That would be a great video. Thanks for the suggestion ☺️
@ryanbarker39783 жыл бұрын
Just my opinion, but to offer a perspective here: I think most folks are actually pretty decent at meeting people and casually dating. What is much harder and is where most of the people I've met struggle is transitioning from dating into a healthy relationship. I think this is rooted in the fact that most people are hyper fixated on outcome dependency and end up self sabotaging though they have good intentions. When you put too much effort into your mental projection of the relationship, you neglect the real person in front of you and end up breaking down your own reality. Most folks do much better dating because they tend to view it with far less strings attached, and as a result, are more focused on what's in front of them versus what is in their heads. If you really want to have a successful relationship, you have to get out of your own head. This is especially difficult for hyper rational or hyper emotional thinkers whose brains have gotten them very far in life. The one thing your brain can't do is advance your interpersonal relationships through some magic equation or projection of reality. You have to do that for yourself in the moment and you're not going to be able to do it if you're killing yourself with performance anxiety.
@ryanbarker39783 жыл бұрын
@@Redouku 100% agree, though I think it is important to acknowledge being caught up in a power struggle in it of itself is not secure behavior. I'm not saying it's impossible to have a healthy relationship with somebody you're playing this kind of cat and mouse game with (right person wrong time absolutely happens), but if you're stuck on it, you need to walk away from that dysfunctional situation. Never-ending shit tests are a pretty clear sign that at least one person involved is too damaged to be in a healthy relationship in the present moment.
@ryanbarker39783 жыл бұрын
@@Redouku I get what you're saying but am going to agree to disagree. There's an incredibly fine line here and if you're interested in someone, having a mature conversation about boundaries at the forefront of dating is always the better route to go. I understand why people shit test others to gauge what they will tolerate, but it's a form of sabotage that will damage your ability to trust and respect someone else. In my experience, things generally work out better in the long term when you assume the best in someone else but are prepared to deal with the worst. It's also always better to be the person introducing healthy communication into a potential relationship versus being the person introducing passive aggressive behavior like shit testing. The concerns I have with shit testing have nothing to do with the jovial or playful nature of it and everything to do with the fact that excessive shit testing communicates a damaged individual. If you are not secure enough in yourself to not question the character of every person you enter a potential relationship with, you are going to crumble when any relationship you enter is actually tested by real difficulty. It's also impossible to escalate or be intimate with somebody you know doesn't actually reciprocate your trust or respect. I'm all for playful banter, but if you can't have a mature and direct conversation about whatever boundary is so important to you, then you can't have a successful relationship with another person. I do think that everybody deserves an opportunity to have that conversation regardless of if they lead it with shit testing or not. However, if you shy away from it, you are also going to be incapable of regulating pain in healthy ways or letting go. These type of people are always better off single working out whatever is causing their anxiety, avoidance, or fear. I am not saying somebody has to lay out all of their deepest thoughts when they just begin dating, but the number one mistake people make in dating is fearing the vulnerability it takes to speak what is actually on their mind. You do much more damage to your relationship with someone when you play games surrounding what is in your head than you do if you just talk about it, however uncomfortable it is. Learning to be a part of the successful 10% who transition into healthy long term relationships is all about learning to leave behaviors like shit testing that deconstruct trust and respect behind. Period.

For my skin care routine, I wash my face with regular water, then wash it again with rose water, the rose water is superior to regular water but it does not last long because I have to buy it LOL... once a week I will put on an Anti Bac (Acne Lotion) mask, let it soak in then wash lotion off with another round of rose water. I could do the acne treatment more often, but I'm lazy and too often would dry the skin out. Rehydrate my skin after washing with avocado oil which also seals in moisture (especially important in the winter) and does not clog pores badly. I don't use lotion on my face anymore (too many chemicals). Dove lotion only for my hands, and elbows/knees. For fragrance, I do couple sprays under my undershirt, then on my wrists, inner elbow and a collar shirt goes on over that, then I spray on the neck and let some get on my collar. It usually last most of the day. The Eau De Toillete I am using is rather weak (I think at least), so I have to spray multiple times and get it on clothes.

It’s amazing how much of a difference getting rid of hair makes for the body. I mean hair seriously builds up a lot of odor causing bacteria along with moisture and that absolutely wreaks. If I were giving advice to any man out there today get permanent hair removal in your armpits, groin/genital region and last but not least your inner buttcrack. You can thank me later, life becomes so much easier when you get rid of hair in those places guys. I mean from maintenance to appearance everything is 1000x better. I mean I still leave hair on my chest, arms and legs. I’ve been thinking about get rid of thigh hair but idk. Oh yeah and if you don’t want hair sticking to your clothes, I would suggest getting rid of back hair too. Ladies don’t like it. It doesn’t have to be permanent bc idk but if you want to you can. Hair on back of the neck, biceps, back and shoulders should be placed guys should consider removing as well.

Spraying any type of fragrance on clothes is a bad idea. It will leave little spots that look like stains on your clothes. Just apply a single to the pulse points on your wrists and lower neck (upper neck sprays can lead to razor burn due to alcohol in the spray). You can also put a tiny (not a ton) bit behind each that wouldn’t be noticed until you hug someone.

I think I'll stick with the 'she greets me by my name with a heightened pitch compared to the others and expresses sense of interest in doing so' and enjoy the moments as they happen 😃

I come from the other side... I do minimal grooming... I think nothing of doing errands to shops unshaven (neck beard). I DON'T put much effort into myself UNLESS I FEEL LIKE IT bc I'm not grooming for women or for the public, I'm doing it ONLY FOR ME. I really don't care what others around me think of me... In fact, you can say I'm tryna put a barrier up. I would be interested which other men behave like me? I can't be the only one who only answers to myself.

Good video Courtney, but not at 5:15! Never, never trim nose hair with scissors. This is too risky for cuts and infections. Battery operated nose trimmers trim the hair much easier, faster, closer, safer, and farther up the nose. Thank you again.

I used to pluck until a friend convinced me to try electrolysis. Apparently, tweezing can malform follicles without destroying them, leading to more ingrown hairs. Also, aren't a lot of SPF products bad for you?

You can remove pimple scars? That's new to me. Can you share your experience with that?

I play fingerstyle guitar. On my fretting hand the nails are very short. On the other hand the nails are relatively long to make those good tones. Do you think a girl just might flip into full blown schizophrenia trying to figure me out?
@slygreenbloom82263 жыл бұрын
As life goes on and piles up in your body, long finger nails on one hand will be the least of it. By the time 38 rolls around your showing off the scar you got from slipping on the ice in your driveway.

Ugh. The long nails thing is rough for me. I know it doesn't look great, but I play classical guitar so I need long nails on my right hand for fingerpicking, and very short nails on my left hand for fretting. I find myself explaining it to people who I know will be seeing my hands a lot, because I don't love the way it looks either.

That is definitely an exception. If you need them to do something you love, who cares about long nails! I wouldn’t worry about it

Sometimes I would break out like crazy. Pimple popping definitely goes hand in hand with skin care routine. I normally would use Neutrogena acne stress control every other day and switch it up with Citaphil skin cleanser. I would also drink plenty of water to hydrate my skin. Lotion is also key especially in the dry cold winter season. I shave my head and put lotion afterwards. Is that OK or should I use something else?

Blue light isn't damaging. It's lowers the amount of melatonin produced, meaning that if you want to sleep well don't get blue light in your eyes in the evening.

Thanks for the help Courtney. I have to disagree with neck beard unless the hairs are getting curly. I hate beards but if it is short or stubble it looks weird to just shave your neck. Most guys don't get the line even or they are too pale and it's too much skin. I think it's actually more lazy to pull out a razor and only shave your neck. Not many men look good with beards and the line to me is just a reminder that you know how to shave but refuse to. Anyways. Thanks for trying to lift men up. Lifting up others is one of the most attractive qualities a person can have

6:24 In middle school i got cursed with the biggest pimple I've ever seen on the tip of my nose. My nose is big enough already but i was looking like Rudolph. I was so frustrated looking the way i did, i decided to squeeze really hard till it popped. When it it did pop it shot a mixture of white stuff and blood, it shot all the way to the mirror! I was very suprised by what happened and i totally wish i had it recorded lol.

I agree with all the aspects of nailbiting for sure. However I have been trying to stop doing it my whole life and nothing has worked. I tend to bite my nails when I am stressed, I don't even realize when I am doing it. However I don't bite them down to a stub like ever, there where the nail clipper would stop is where I stop biting. Not that that is a pro....

Theirs one more thing I believe is a very attractive trait in anyone.. That would be having some sort of unique feature that society might say Ooooh that's not cute.. But really having that unique feature, i.e. a few crooked teeth (like jewel had) I think she ended up fixing her teeth but honestly I like that unique feature as long as they still keep their teeth clean.. Also #toothgap is considered an attractive trait to many!

this is why i dont cut them too often and when i do i leave some white on. you can use them to screw in screws, open stuff. also, if dirt gets under there you can use your other nails to get it out. whereas if you cut them short, and then have to do some yard work, you'll get dirt pushed under the living part of your nails and you cant get it out. thats unhygienic and it hurts. my nails are generally much cleaner than other mens. i clean them multiple times a day.
@jeffgayzose81293 жыл бұрын
@@TheSuperappelflap idk what you are talking about, I do mechanic work and and other hands on labor and long nails are harder to clean than short nail. Oil and grim gets stuck under them and is a pain to clean
@TheSuperappelflap3 жыл бұрын
@@jeffgayzose8129 if i have short nails, that stuff gets under the pink part of my nails and i have to wait a week for them to grow out before i can get to it.

And then you have to wait until they're useful again. It's almost like women don't use their nails. If anything their 4+ cm long plastic nails look ugly af. But those women clearly don't do anything. How it's even possible to cook with those? And imagine all the germs hiding under them. You can't even wash your hands properly (20 sec soap rubbing).

I'm an ASE certified Auto Technician and I regularly have oil/grease stained hands... I don't care what you say or do but when you are elbow deep in oil grease ECT 10+ hours a day you can NEVER get your hands clean...I only have clean looking hands after a week of vacation lol... Be turned off all you want, I make 42.35 per hour as a lead Technician... have fun paying for dinner with the guy who works at a convenience store lol.

Haha, yep! I guess I'm watching these vids out of curiosity since I'm an old dude who's beyond his dating years, but this point about hands was interesting. I worked as a printer through college and for a year or so afterward. I was constantly wiping down ink impression blankets with solvent, so my cuticles and nail edges were lightly stained, but never seemed to be an issue with the mentally fit, down-to-earth girls I was interested in. I think a lot of this advice is good, but it's a best fit for the Metrosexual Kens seeking Barbies.

I use Veet all over pubic area and only for exactly 5 minutes with a timer and I’ve not been burned and this includes the balls, lower shaft where pubic hair is on the ball sac to the pubic bone. My wife enjoys it clean and yes BALLS STINK guys so wash them often especially before and after sex!
