The game have a lot from familiar games as I look into the visual design. From old C&C games, the visuals, the unit design for collect stuff from Act Of War. You're right about seing units on the map. In my game we are currently trying to fix this. Detach units from the scenario to make them more visible, as I ran to more "realistic" approach, it can be challenging to see other units, even yours sometimes.

@@perafilozof it looks awesome. i just find it weird that they changed the names from renegades and guardians from 8 bit armies to overlord and sentinel in 9 bit armies respectively. it is way more generic. but other then that it looks better in every way. i hope it also gets a console port.

the alien monster that you've find is exact same unit from 8bit invaders. I hope developers are planing 9bit Hordes and 9bit Invaders. 8bit series was the only RTS that can try C&C vs Warcraft vs Starcraft, it was so fun when I crush fantasy undead archers with giant robots..

I tried the demo and it wasn't bad! I feel like the pathing could be a little better and selected mix units in a group should go at the same speed as the slowest selected unit. I found it annoying where the scout vehicles would drive off leaving the rest of the group. Excellent video!

@@perafilozof do you think they will add it or leave it as is? Also did you notice the refineries run out fairly quickly? In like 4 minutes one of them runs out with 2 units on it. Does that seem a little too fast?

For now the missions seam to be designed in the way that you have enough oil to finished them in a reasonable timeframe. But I totally see a player taking 30 minutes and losing too many units to the point they run out of oil on the map.

I played one game online of that. beat the other guy and he kicked me from the lobby. the bots are good in that game. I can barely beat medium ones. if I am not sleeping, I'll join. feeling pretty shit today. @@perafilozof

I have all 8-bits armies games and despite brainless spam nature it is I quite enjoy the game for quite some time but I wonder why should get this game when it didn't seem any different from the old one other than some few navy units while everything else just reuse from their old 2016 game. I admire petroglyph for their effort trying to push some new RTS games out once a while but seriously I expect for something more ambition than this like their attempt on Universe at War or Gray Goo.

8-Bit Armies was somewhat okay, this one got even worse. ..and they can't even give the ground texture a bit noise. I don't know how Petroglyph manages to stay alive with all their fails.
