4:25 I can't believe that Simone died from domestic abuse, in such a brutal way, when she, or a loved one, battled a life-threatening disease. I did not see that one coming. I thought they were going to say the disease got her. That drew tears from me. I hope, at least, that the choir's time on stage brought some much needed blood donations. B+ blood is what they needed, every day. The name of the choir, B Positive, was a cool name but had a double meaning. I hope more than anything, that they achieved this goal of inspiring people to give blood so they and their families could survive this terrible disease. I am silently praying for all of them. I'm certain Simone is watching over them.

So sorry to hear about your son. I don't think any of us could possibly understand why. I lost a sister when she was only 35 to Domestic violence. She sang like an Angel but nobody listened. I don't know why she went when she did. But I've learned over the last 17 years since she's been gone, that the only thing I need to understand is how much she was loved and is missed. And I hope we meet again.

That was quite a shock to hear that such a young, sweet woman who was just beginning to feel accepted in the world, to feel confident and her beautiful voice heard and appreciated was taken so soon. That look on her face when she realized the audience loved her was probably the most wonderful moment in her entire life. A moment that we got to share with her. A moment that changed her. Surely she is the most beautiful Angel there ever has been in Heaven. Whenever I hear the birds singing sweetly now, I will hear her voice in that audition. If there is any meaning to her passing, I would guess that one of her life's purposes was to teach us all to look at what is inside a person, instead of what they are showing us on the outside, and perhaps to teach herself just how amazing her talent was. That audition was a gift that we didn't know was wrapped in extra special bows. RIP Emma. You touched me so beautifully. Thank you for being brave enough to get on that stage and change us.

Here in US I worked in a state hospital with people with poor mentation. One of the staff brought in a jukebox and it turned the dayroom into a swinging party. I remember laughing, singing, dancing whirling people in wheelchairs around and around as Elvis Presley sang. People love music, it's good for us all and we need more of it.
