Great video. I watched from start to end. I have two male budgies for about six months so I will see if this technique helps with making them less scared. They are not tame but that is also my fault since I have made any consistent training. They do the same thing where they just sit from above looking down at me most of the time. I may have made bad habits for them already since I play budgie sounds for them all day and I leave their millet out for them for them to eat.

Haha yeah that sounds like me for many years 😅 But there’s always a chance for change. They’re definitely stubborn but I noticed they have already become less scared of me just because I come almost every morning to interact with them. I don’t know if I can still tame them 100% but I’ll try anyway 😋 I did read that it’s possible to even train older budgies. It just takes more time and effort.
