Every Sunday we load up the car & take a drive on the backroads while listening to worship music! The kids usually fall asleep so it’s just us holding hands & worshipping.

One of our favorite date nights is to drive around at night around the holidays and to look at all of the Christmas lights that people put up. We grab some coffee or hot chocolate and find the "rich" neighborhoods where the lights are extravagant! So much to look at and great time to just talk about whatever is on our minds while also being off of the couch.

Great ideas! (I’ve just written a note for my husband to find when he wakes up inviting him to coffee and cards tonight 😄) One of our favorite activities is training together! We run spartan races and so for months beforehand we’re getting ready for race day. Every once in a while we’ll get outside instead of going to the gym, and we’ll run together around our neighborhood or in the mountains. It’s an awesome way for us to encourage each other while working together towards a common goal 🙂 Blessings to you both!

Thank you for the ideas! We’re definitely going to have to try the progressive dinner/dessert idea :) One date night idea that my husband and I love is “Blanket Fort Night.” We move all of our kitchen chairs into the living room, grab all of our spare blankets/sheets/pillows, build the fort, pop some popcorn, and settle in for an evening of talking, games, or movies. It might a little more difficult to do with kids home as they may want to join you! But it’s super fun and simple, and (bonus) it’s free! It’s also a good teamwork exercise, because you have to work together to figure out a good fort design and build it together. We’ve used clothespins, safety pins, and tape to hold the fort together :)

It took my husband and I to do date nights, but we did it! We have date nights every Friday. We do a variety of dates- lunch, dinner, day at the park, movie night, game night, a chill night at our back porch, reading in our quite living room, working out or napping. ;)

Thank you for this!!! My husband just joined the airforce and since he will be away for over 2 months for basic and then job training after that, he wants to do nothing but spend time with me and our 6 month old daughter until he leaves so date days or nights turn into family days. I don't really mind but I do miss when my mom would watch our daughter for a few hours once a month for a date night 😝 I would love to see a military version of this of ideas for long distance!

I allready am at an age where i know what i like and want. Activities i like to do is like play golf, go to picknick, i like going to restaurant to eat cus i like food. Maybe play pool. Or have a drink at a bar patio. Even just cofee an dessert, or bubble tea and spring rolls.

Set a date is the best for those who habe small kids is not easy specially no one will look aftr the kids .but doing household chores together while chatting then watching movie together its either daytime or nightime it depends on you ..weekends or weekdays one a month going out only the two of you chatting while strolling along bayside or having a star gazing go to your roof nd mke fun reminiscing your love story ..hving some jokes or play games its up on you guys 😊
