Thank you for addressing the edge control issue when braiding. I've been braiding since the 90s and I have NEVER. We were taught to braid on moisturized hair and concentrate on braiding neatly. Ditto on dirt not making your hair grow but rather the lack of manipulation. Ditto on hair being alive.

Honestly after using the information you've given in past videos, I've seen tremendous growth and improvement in my hair. The main mistake I made was using only using conditioner once week , but in the past two months I started using shampoo along with the conditioner again once a week and a leave conditioner and serum all from the same brand. I realized I wasn't allowing it to grow to it's full potential. If people are still fighting against the information you're sharing it's truly their loss because you really helped my hair thrive, thank you so much.

Number 4 is my favorite. I understand that a stylist wants their work to look as neat as possible but I can do without it. I don't use it when I braid me and my family's hair. I hope our sisters are adding moisture afterwards and is not packing on the edge control to keep that same neat look.

Thank you Cyn Doll for sharing your vast knowledge on the structure of hair. Not many stylists are at this level so they cannot give a proper consultation to their clients. The journey to having healthy hair is not always an easy one but with the right education, tools and products, it can be done! Anyone can say they are a hair stylist but if they do not know what they are working with, how can they achieve the results that make their clients happy and want to return to them? Choose your hair stylist wisely: they can either make you feel a million dollars or they can make you sink into depression! Black hair is constantly evolving and there is always something we can learn in order to improve. With much love from the UK 💙

@IamCynDoll3 жыл бұрын
Lol, I’ve been doing hair for 14 years. I think your the one who doesn’t know what your are talking about!😂😂😂 Lice are attracted to SEBUM , I didn’t say dirty. I said they need to shampoo to remove sebum. It takes sebum longer to travel down straight hair than it does curly hair. Asian people have the straightest hair because their follicle is a perfect circle. So the straighter your hair is the faster hair travels down the hair shaft. The hair is not dirty it’s covered in SEBUM which is the natural oil that comes from the scalp. Its A FACT! Lice are attracted to sebum, not dirt. The suburb is what feeds their babies! Go sit down. Women like you love getting online talking with no education. I’ve been studying the human body my entire adult life. Your attempt to make me look wrong made you look crazy. I’m glad you clicked off hun. Go read a book! Cute pic, your comment of the week for sure!!!
