If I had this information years ago, it would have save me money and grief. I've been watching you for over a year now. I am now natural, because I felt confident from all you're teaching. I've learned to care for my daughter's hair better now. I am even doing her trims, until I can find someone I really like. I trimmed my child's hair last week, and I said health over length. I do need to do the porosity test on us both, because I want to choose the best products for us. On a side note, I was so pissed, because she colored hair without my knowledge. She didn't have the right products, and didn't know how to care for it. I'm happy to report she us not a ball headed skittle diddo with no hair in the middle. However, she is not allowed to color her hair again, until she can afford to go to a cosmetologist on her own. Thank you for all you do!

ooo girl thank you for telling me this. there's another very popular cosmetologist on youtube who is telling people to massage castor oil into their scalp daily if they want it to grow. I just found you yesterday and it's making me rethink everything I've seen on youtube on my natural hair journey! The science of hair is important. I'm low porosity and a straight natural who wants to retain length. Gonna go get that ebook so I can learn :)

I have tested countless things. The sole things that actually worked in my case: A nutritious diet, decent sleeping timings, moving your body at least for 30 minutes, eating right, using good shampoo as well as oil. I use only liiitleextra cocooinnion shampoo & natural hair oil for this purpose and it does the work. The hairfall got under control with it.

Your diet is just one part of haircare as a holistic practice. Stop putting oils in your hair and scalp. It causes long term inflammation by feeding all the hundreds of yeast and bacteria currently living on your scalp. Everything works until it doesn’t.

Girl #1is straight foolishness that makes my skin crawl- people say it with pride “ my hair grows best when its dirty! I have two daughters both HAD super thick and long natural hair- one start follow an ig stylist and chile i just wanna fight everytime i see her hair. She never washes her clients ( so i know she doesn’t sterilize the combs. My daughter keeps saying my hair cant grow anymore. “ i can see signs of bacteria infections with her hair thinning and part getting wide and thin. But what do i know. Ive only been a licensed cosmetologist growing all types of hair for over 25 years . But they say im ole school. No enough common sense to see her hair only starting falling out with your new stylist. Also my other daughter hair keeps growing. Braiding damage hair will not make the issues go away . I referred her to a dermatologist but the ig stylist with no credentials disagrees. Amazing social media brain washed

@kelliew.4285
@kelliew.4285 3 жыл бұрын
@@laikaevelyn4478 You can try it. I said be careful bc butters dont have a lot of "slip". Shea butter is kinda sticky/tacky, like even if you put some on ur hand it wont glide like oil. The same "stickiness" makes it harder to detangle my hair bc the butter sticks to the comb instead of it just gliding through. Several studies have shown that oil is better than butters for combing hair. However, it may work differently if mix oils with it. Try it and see how your hair responds.

@@brittneer8940 I lose less hair if I detangle out of the shower. I pre-poo my hair for 30 minutes with oil or ready made pre-poo. Then I finger detangle and use my wide tooth seamless comb. The I shampoo and deep condition. If you hair is shoulder length or longer you should shampoo and condition in clipped up sections or in twists. Definitely not with your hair loose. My sister has mid back length hair and she never has all her hair out and loose all at once. She does everything in sections. I don't apply my deep conditioner to soaking wet hair. I apply it to gently towel dried hair where I have squeezed out the excess water. I have high porosity hair. Then I may use my seamless wide toothed comb to make sure the deep conditioner is distributed. After I have shampooed and deep conditioned, then I apply my detangler and leave in and then I detangle with a medium toothed seamless comb. Once every 4-6 week after the second detangle with a medium toothed seamless comb , I will use a fine tooth seamless comb and/or my tangle teezer for fine and fragile hair. This way I lose less hair.

I haven’t used oil on my scalp in about 20 years because of skin conditions but the whole hydrogen bond breakage with water was fairly new to me. I believe I found that out watching you last year. I always knew that I could not comb my hair soaking wet because I’d have nothing but breakage. But I always thought I needed at least some water to make it pliable. I tried detaingling with just oil and my fingers first this last time and, it took longer, but there was less hair in the trash. I’m figuring out the routine but I hope to see some benefits soon.

I noticed the hair breakage from combing wet ages ago. I used to wet my hair everyday, brush through it and gel it down for a sleek bun. I am so thankful to God that my edges haven’t receded and that I don’t have SEVERE hair follicle damage from this (which I also credit regular wig wearing as well for this). The tip about combing while wet is very true. DO NOT DO IT. Instead try washing you hair 1-2 times a week, so that it is never excessively dry.

I've been binge watching your videos all week. I've found some good advice and threw out a lot of my hair stuff. I guess I've upgraded and simplified my hair regime thanks to your videos. However, I do want to ask if you have any thoughts on One and Only Argon Oil product line from Sally's? I've been using them off and on throughout the years. For me it seems to work wonders compared to just about everything else I've tried.
@IamCynDoll
@IamCynDoll 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Argan oil is only great for growth in its purist form. If it doesn’t say 100% argan oil it’s not argan oil. Those products are ok for styling but keep them away from the scalp. You need products based around your porosity.

Hey CynCyn, so when we finish washing & conditioning our hair we should just towel dry it then blow dry it or leave it like that til it's dry? It seems that blow drying would be better cause some would have to wait hours or a day til it dries natural cause we shouldn't even plait it to get dry cause the pulling to plait it might have us pulling a plug out while it's wet lol real talk? Thank you so much for all the facts you gave cause it makes so much sense.

I am from the islands and Moringa is good in your body in general. I usually drink tea and my mom still to this day cooks with it depending on what it is. My sister and our hair has been long since we were kids with no relaxer. She used to say it’s about what you put in your body too, that comes out in your hair.
