Tbh the Joker and so many of Batman's villains are the reason the Punisher is my favorite marvel character. Joker is a great villain. But Robin never would've died if Batman (or anyone for that matter) just straight up iced him. No prison, possibility of parole, just Punish the bastard. Sometimes karma feels a lot better than "justice". Even if it's only fiction.
