Eureka ! HIT THE BALL UP !!!! I always thought that you had to hit/brush the ball on top (about 2 o'clock) and out in front and down. Your advice to hit the ball at 7 0'clock and hit/brush it UP from behind was a "lightbulb" moment. Similar to a 2nd serve/kick serve in Tennis? (Coming from a Squash background that never occurred to me). Is it possible to do the "saque por tres" from the right side to go out on the left for a right hander? Where would you strike the ball? Another excellent video. Info re private lessons?

Hi Jim, thank you for your comment. It is indeed the game as a kickserve for tennis. A more vertical movement :) If you want to play your smash out of the court from the right -> crosscourts, it is better to play flat. That technique is different. I mostly do private lessons and I am going to do some online lessons😃

Thank you Jean-François! The green one is surely better. I was struggeling to kick the ball out with the old one. I used it quite alot, nearly every day for a season in the heat in Spain. To he honest, I felt like the asics racket is more of use when it is really warm. In Holland I am going to try softer rackets.

Can you hit an out of the court with a beginner racket?

I depens on the circumstances. In Spain I am able to hit the ball out of the court from behind the line. But here in Holland not so much. I think I can do that with the a bigger racket, but the “beginner” racket would break sooner. The racket I use is not a hard hit racket to be honest :)
