Good to see some more advice on the flat smash! After your last video about it I realized that i wasn't preparing enough with the "90-90", feeling better now since I've learned that. I'm noticing that you don't go very deep with your legs in to the "trophy position" in your examples. Is that to not make it complicated for "us" or because you don't think its worth that (in theory) extra power that you could generate? I guess the timing gets a lot harder with more "loading" of the legs and if you don't get it right the outcome will be worse. That's partly my experience as well, getting stuck in the trophy position and losing a lot of momentum.

Yes correct! I want you all to have a good timing first. Then more legs and jumping!

Hi, first of all, great video. Love the content in English, which is rather rare for padel content... I do have a question: so I was looking through the video and the 90-90 mistake was very clear to me, until you continued with the rest of the mistakes... was looking through the different “correct” ways, and sometimes it shows you are dropping the elbow yourself a little bit. Especially when you point up with the left arm, it looks like you’re lowering the elbow a little bit, right before you start moving forward with the arm to hit the bal. Can you please explain what exactly is good and wrong with the “drop the elbow” thing... I have the feeling I’m doing this wrong, but after filming myself, it doesn’t look that much different compared to your technique... (I do have some other working points though). Thanks for your reply.

Thanms alot! The elbow position is most powerfull if its 90’90’ I am using the cartweel effect, making my shoulder go from high to low. Thats why the elbow seems to drop. The angle is still more or less the same. If you have your elbow very close to your side, you will have less power. My elbow is away from my side

@@OtroNivelPadel thank you for your answer. I’ve reviewed the video after your comment and I can see the distance between the body and elbow, and how it impacts the generation of power! Looking forward to your next video.
