I am inspired by your enthusiasm and I love your willingness to experiment with different glazes. I am waiting for a couple of my bowls to be bisque fired to try the peacock method. My fingers are crossed that they turn out as beautiful as yours did!

Aaaaw! I LOVE that you give shout outs! Isn’t it amazing to have such an incredible relationship with another woman who gets you and loves to do what you do! You two are blessed!! The sign is soo awesome. The blue swirl bowl is soo awesome. Did you use glaze or mason stain your clay? On your rainbow cup the streaks are from applying all 3 coats in the glaze in the same direction. It’s important to put each coat of glaze on in different directions. That really helps to not get streaks! Obviously when doing the glazes in stripes you can’t do that. But it’s still great! I love the shape!!

Oh Thankyou sooo much you do wonder if ppl like or dislike these little things. I loooove my sign but need to play with the “u” a little more. Ppl think it’s mod or mad instead of mud. I use stains in white clay. Lots of wedging lol. Ohhh good tip re streaks Thankyou. If I try again w tape resist I will do this. Xx

Oh how funny. I knew what it was because I know the name of you business and page. Maybe make the letter U a bowl? The name of my company is MAD About Mud! My initials are MAD so I thought it sounded cute. With the stroke and coat glazes and any other I guess, I’ve found it helpful to always crosshatch the layers. Hope it helps.

I hope you don't think I'm harassing you! Do you use a zinc-free clear for your marbled pots? If it isn't zinc free, some colors can burn out.

Yes it’s Sahara zf clear but I’m changing to try Mayco when it comes in stock
