9 Min Workout to Improve Dribbling, Conditioning & Footwork | Drills to do ALONE @ HOME or GYM

One Up Basketball Training

Here is a progressive training workout that will improve your ball handling, footwork and conditioning. You can do this workout at home, in the driveway or at the gym.
Phase 1
· Ball Jumping Jacks (20x)
· Double Crossovers- Front and Back (10x)
· R/L Hand Combo Front and Thru The Leg Dribbles (10X)
· Hesitation Dribble w/ Look Off (15x)
Rest 30-60 seconds.
Phase 2
· Lateral Jumps Over Ball (10x)
· Scissor Dribbles w/ 1 dribble in between (10x)
· Spider Man Scissor Dribbles (10x)
· Thru the leg, cross over into a cross jab (10x)
· Lateral Skates (20x)
Once you complete the workout, repeat but increase repetitions by 1 for each set. Athletes can stop after the second set or be ambitious and complete a 3rd set. Each time you finish the workout, add 1 rep so it’s progressive.

Odd question but would the footwork of basketball apply to boxing? I'm looking for some new footwork drills.

You’re unfit. Go gym and try to incorporate deadlifts into ur workout. It’ll benefit you

What about the other ball handling workout what do we do?

Good question. We recommend starting with the other ballhandling workout (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXupomeZh7mgd6M) and do that for 2-6 weeks. Once you make some progress and/or you're ready for something new, start on this workout. Changing this up helps with boredom, challenges you, and keeps you improving.

@@DylanKlassen800 The conditioning drills are in that order to warm up and get prepared for the more challenging exercises. The order of the dribbling drills are less important. Hope that helps.
