Paige, when I did my MA in Classical Studies three and four years ago through Distance Learning at the Open University in the U.K., I did a 3,000 EMA and I found it very difficult because I found the questions very complicated, vague, daunting, and complex. I was very stressed and afraid that I was not going to finish the exam. It was 3,000 word essay and I submitted two days before the cut-off date because I live in Canada and I am five hours behind the U.K. and I wanted to make sure that my exam was submitted in time and I just passed it. For the last part of my MA in Classical Studies at the Open University, I had to write a 10,000-12,000 word dissertation which was several months hard work and effort and it was very stressing since writing essays are my weakest point in academic studies, but I finished it and submitted it three days before the submission date. I am happy that I just passed and earned my Master's degree in Classical Studies at the Open University.

first year electrical engineering student here, and i've just had to endure the absolute worse exam ever. it was online, and lasted for 24 (!!) hours straight. over 100 of us stayed up all night, from 9 am to 9 am in an attempt to tackle this exam. out of the 4 questions we were given, the majority of us only managed to solve 1 question, except for my genius friend and a handful of other top students who managed 2. the worst part is that we are being graded as usual, and the grades count. T_T

Ahhh sounds awful. Hopefully if you're being graded relative to each other then it will work out okay? Not a fan of 24 hour exams, you should never be encouraged to skip sleep!
